Bono should be run out of town on a rail.. This song is a national treasure, it's awesome,so why would Bono purposefully screw it up ?
Even Nina Simone did it better.. Listen to the song on the Last Waltz version, the Band and friends.. I'm really PO'd at Bono
It's taken like 30 years of practice(He originally wanted to be a guitarist)for him to play rhythm and sing at the same time, I can't believe it really is that hard for some people to do. nice to see him actually play the guitar on something besides Kite.
bono performed this back in 87 w/ bob dylan live on stage during the Joshua tree in april 87 at Los angeles stadium!!!! all thru the years be great if any amatuer taped performances from that LA show would turn up!!!
