@mrbandeya ok from past expierence ive learned, dont buy the bird unless youa ctually hear it talk. unfortunatly theres alot of people who say the bird an do blah blah and it just doesnt :S hopefully urs does.
ive also learned when introducing one bird to another, let them see each other and speak in seperate cages for a couple ofweeks, people say monthsbut weeks are usually fine, if they seem to get along i let them play ouside ther cages 2gether, hopefully ur birds get along n he talks :) x

I live in india and parrots (atleast 10-15) come and sit in our balcony regularly. There is a banyan tree right in front of my bedroom window and we get another 20-30 parrots sitting there always. Feels sooooooo good to have green patch of trees with the best view of parrots in a very crowded, filthy and polluted city of people. I can hear those parrots through Skype/gtalk when I travel abroad and chat with my parents.

@MegaNinja231 When they are very young you cannot tell if boy or girl. When they are 18 months old, if it is a boy, it will get a black ring on it's neck like Taj has. The female bird will not develop a black ring.

@liaamgooding It takes time to get them to trust you, Put his cage near your table where you eat. He can watch you eat. Give him his food at the same time you eat. He will learn that you are part of his "flock" and eat at the same time as you. This is the beginning and you can eventually have him tame. Don't rush and don't yell, it will come.

@SoleilStorm I didn't do any particular training, but just talked to the bird a lot. If you keep her near where she can hear your conversation with others that will help. Birds are creatures of habit, so if you say the same thing at the same time of day, for example, she may catch on to repeating it.
Sounds like his owner is 'parroting' everything the parrot says. The bird leads, the owner repeats.. These Indian Ringnecks are amazing..and there's that cuteness factor, too. Just loveable!

@TheNickipoo You need to spend lots of time with/on your bird. You also need to make them feel either equal or greater than you so they can be comfortable with you and build up a respect. Don't tell your birds to come to you, ask it if it wants to come to you.

I have one of these visiting my back yard, I think he has escaped from some where. he is not scard of me and will fly down and perch on my hands....I don't want to cage him but would love to keep him.
This bird makes me want him even more now!

@shadowball12isonline they're pretty cheap. Here in Pakistan, one of them costs atmost 2$...and they are one of the birds that easily learn to talk.
