@ericsxviper 33 12.50? No, but if your using factory wheels 305/75/16 will. They are 33's (pretty much) but they're like 10 or 10.50 wide which will work with a LITTLE torsion bar cranking and lower air dam trimming. Emphasis on little. If you have aftermarket wheels you'll likely need at least 3" more under it pending on the offset of the wheel.
@Hickey2500 35s easy.. my buddy has 285s with no crank with a little room you might be able to even fit a little bigger then that depending on how much you trim
@SeaVee320 Yeah it's 32 gallons, single tank and I drive 50 miles to work one way for 5 days. So 100-110 miles each day, depending if I head over to walmart or some other place, plus I drive around on the weekends.
I forgot to mention I think I have an inch of body lift could be 2 but I really dont think so. Its also a k1500 hd which ive heard sits a little higher because of the extra leaf..
@rnordan1 I am just to new owner of a 96 Chevy C3500. lookin nice, drives good, but it 'sips' gas, why is that? I mean it is a 454 big block v8 and the gas lasts me all week. Hmmm.
@bigak72 6 inch suspension with 33s with look goofy your gonna want atleast a 35.. I have 2 inch blocks in the back and my torsion bars cranked to match (getting a torsion key) And I have 285 75s which are basically a 33 and I could go bigger. For mpg it depends on gear ratio whats done to the truck driving habbits ect.. dnt know enough to even guess
@bigak72 my 69 f100 gets bout 6mpg lol, and it has 35s, 4.11s, 8" lift and a 390 big block. can't really complain though. people ask the kinda mpg you get. but you don't lift a truck and expect to get good gas mileage.
Im not usually a fan of the "mud bawgin" scene, and I live in Alabama.
You arent tearing up some nice and beautiful countryside, you're in a construction zone/development lot. You obviously have permission to be there, so kudos to you!
i got a 1996 z71 ur right these trucks are awsome i got a 3inch body lift and oversized tires and was following trucks with 8 and 10 inch lifts into pits up to my doors and my truck had noooo prblem floting through it
@spiderelectra321 Please tell me you sprayed your alternator with some silicon coating and extended the diff breathers or got creepers, other wise you are in for a world of hurt...
I would invest in lockers, a snorkel, and some breathers really soon my friend.
@bamaedgecore o trust me i already found out about that hurt after i put the new alternator water pump ac pump and new block in o well lesson learned i gess
stock 350 tbi with 4L60e trans . Still has factory pcm in it. 38.5 tsl boggers with a strong running gear. Just having fun !!!! HARD to BELIEVE ain't it?
Sorry took so long responding but we are not use to SNOW in west central Ga. Championship mud bog 2-20-2010 this weekend to finish up 2009 season. Wish us luck cause we've had alot of rain and snow and the pit will be DEEP!!!! All in having fun. Chat with you later and let you know how the stock Z71 done against the big boys.
@rnordan1 Hey are you still running IFS with all that power? If so what axles are you running and do you still have the stock 8.25" Aluminum unit for your front diff?
@rnordan1 Wow that is pretty amazing. Very assuring words for me because Im about to go with a built 350 and 35" LTB Super Swampers. I currently run a stock TBI 305 and 33" TSL Super Swampers. I guess its all in how you drive it. Just cant get stupid crazy with it.

@rnordan1 why is it with a lower gear ratio you get less mpg and with the stock gears is better?
