Obama doesn't know the difference between "of" and "by". He made a dumb, unconscious slip of the tongue, but since he was addressing Dumbocrats, they didn't know the difference. A reduction "by" is not the same as a reduction "of." A reduction "by" means you divide (by), ie if an employer pays $10,000, a 3000% reduction is $10,000/ 3000% = $333. A reduction "of" would be $10,000 multiplied by 3000% giving you the crazy numbers, and that wouldnt be a reduction! It would have been simpler if he had said employers may be paying up to 3% "of" their current cost. But then what sounds more profound, 3 or 3000? After-all it is politics.

what are you going on about? obama clearly said that the reduction would be by 3000%. That means if you were paying a $10,000 premium, you will now BE PAID exactly $29,990,000 per year to have insurance. i know this is obviously not what he meant, but it just shows what a complete moron the President of the United States is.
