I think it's really judgmental of you to say that the man was cheating and that's why he got HIV. The man cld have had a job wit animals or something where he could have contracted it, or maybe he works at a waste dump and cld have contracted it from there. Many people, especially in other countries get diseases from things other than sex and it's hasty assumptions like that which makes cases like my brother who is 32 and was born with HIV treated inferior because ppl assume he was promiscuous.

No, I don't believe people should take divorce frivolously because it is about commitment. But to say that a person should never ever get a divorce is an extreme, too. I would leave my husband if he was cheating on me. I don't give second chances. If I feel like I have to watch my boyfriend/husband 24/7 just to make sure he's keeping it in his pants, then he's not the one for me. About 10 years ago I read a story about a man who cheated and got HIV while his wife was pregnant. When the baby was about a year old it became sick and no one could figure out what was wrong with the child. Turns out the husband infected the wife while she was still breast feeding and without knowing it she passed HIV on to the baby through her milk. The baby died. After learning of that story I will not even consider staying with someone I knew had got HIV by cheating on me.
