And pound for pound, you can't get another bird this size, that exhibits these endearing traits. And of course, lets not forget there vocal abiliity, which still amazes me, how clear it sounds for a bird this size.

This is BRILLIANT, much less the cutest thing i've seen, in a while. After my near 20+years, of owning "various" species of parrots, your bird takes the cake HANDS DOWN..!!! Considering i'm getting a Quaker myself very soon, and work from home, seeing these Quaker videos, is making me VERY excited to finally work with one of these birds. They really are a "small treasure", in the way they bond with there owners. Much less, exhibit there larger Macaw cousins "traits" & "personality".

ANy of you who want to know how to get your quaker parrot to talk like cosmo(mine) or yoshi. You have to take them out ALL the time for hours each day and feed them very good and nutrious food also give them treats from your hand like nutriberrys,mango,papaya,and grapes.A very important factor is talk to them even if they dont talk back and stroke their neck alot(they love this) all of this forms the bond with your quaker parrots and then they copy what you say, beacause they want to please you.

MY quaker parrot talks just like that exept he only says "go poopy" when he goes but he says everything else ive seen in your vids. It is not easy to train them to talk like that i admit.Ill upload a vid of my quaker talking(cosmo) so you all can see.and yes i do have vids off my abbs and how i got them i also have fishing vids too. Thanks for all the comments! Yoshi hatched in 2003 and will actually be 7 years old on April Fools' Day (go figure)  :)

when she said "go poopy" he actually went poopy! look at the bottom of the cage and he poos when she tells him to!!!!!!!! :D!! that proves he understands! i love Yoshi and his owner!

Funny stuff... I wonder if all quakers have such good bowel control. My daughter was looking into buying one, and was telling the man about Yoshi, and poopy, and he said that his quaker will go when told to, and rarely poops outside of his cage.
