it's interesting that, since Star Trek: TOS aired from 1966-1969, none of the people in Cheyenne Mt have heard of Kirk, or the Enterprise. Since Jack and the rest went back in TIME, not to a different reality, the military should've known about Star Trek. Star Wars, however, didn't come out until 1977.
