I played this for the first time today. I must say it was a horrible feeling at first, but the worst thing about it was the "smoke". I never see many young children playing this. They're smarter than we think.
Actually, maybe on the particular game unit YOU played, they had the vibration frequency turned up really high. I think that might be adjustable. So, that would explain why it made you react like that. You are serious that it hurt your hands?
I played that game today at Chuck E. Cheese's several times on the "High" setting and it was NOTHING. Totally easy and didn't hurt at all. Also, I don't think there's any electrical current involved. All it is, are two metal poles that vibrate. You honestly thought that the thing was a big deal and painful???
It's actually good for carpal tunnel, lol.
