I bought this pedal and it's a really versatille little unit and sounds great. However I returned it because simply said the fuzz/distortion section is way too much: if you've noticed there's no gain ammount control so when you're distortion's on, its full out uncontrolable cacophony fuzz. With an added gain controler on this it would have been absolutely perfect.
@johnnyboy13131 You do have a gain control in a manner of speaking - it's the volume knob on your guitar. All you have to do is turn the guitar volume low to compensate for the high gain, and then you can turn the amp as high as you want. The gain's not a problem at all, you see, if the input volume is low to begin with. I play a lot of open chords and have found the fuzz and drive distortion can handle those just fine when the guitar volume knob is set low.
the pitch is a kind of oscillator right? does it exists a pedal with only a oscillator? somewhat of a funky oscillator pitch effect ? i'm looking for something like that i don't even know if it exists for guitars you know a kind of effect usually heard with synth, kind of funky punch ?? I'd like to open it only for one note for example in a riff, a kind of random sound inside a funky rythm tune you know... if you have a pedal that does something quite like i described i'd like you to replythanks
for the pitch shifting effect, the expression pedal allows you to sweep into the shifting, like a digitech whammy. Instead of just a bypassed octave/pitch shift, you can "express" the effect up and down. I believe a moog or boss expression pedal is needed, not a volume or wah pedal.
i was looking for a reverb, would this be a better bet then other options on the market, because it has a other features? i am using a egnater tube amp
Aside from the other features, I have this pedal just for the reverb, honestly in my opnion the reverb sounds alot beter than the holy grail in real life!
This was the last addition to my pedal board and I use it for the verb primarily. The 2 drives sound hella fly and I would have no qualms doing a show with just this.
ugh tell me about it. if you go to allans music on pitt street, kind in between DJ's and park street *you know the maccas on the corner?* and ask them to order one for you, tell contact the aussie distributer. god aussie is terrible like that, i went to buy the EHX micro bass synth the other day at a bass store in annandale and it was $1000!!!!! in the states its like $300 us, too many midde men in aus!!
i like the the level of room reverb he used along with the tremolo and distortion. that tremolo and distortion together sound so cool

do you use just a regular expression pedal like a crybaby for the expression

I got this recently - I bought it for the reverb which is very very nice. Be careful with the adaptor because this pedal doesnt take batteries

could you get tones as nice as the riff at 2:36? no stores have any of these to demo, but I love what I heard from this pedal so far.
