  • Loved this movie when I saw it at the flicks. An age of laughs and innocence...taking me right back!

  • the 80's were the time of my life! i was ten years old when this movie came out! God bless anyone from that era growing up and is alive today to look back. Be glad my peers, because at least we had a childhood. Kids today grow up too fast and die young missing the good of life. i won't be sad when i die, because from then to now,i got to see it all and do it all.

  • The best move in this vid hands down...thumbs up 3:45.

  • Klassic you are a fool! Lol.

  • I would respectfully suggest, this film played a role in the indoctrination of the "Down-Low" brother. That and of course, the delusion that urban-black culture existed at KOA Campgrounds. The only folks I've ever witnessed at KOA locations, were white-ass bitches like me. Whatever.

  • Those were the days when we were ALL innocent and loving life. Now?

  • I use to love this movie.

  • I mean seriously I cant believe nobody has said it!!! OZONE IS PURE 80S HOTNESS! He's still hot too

  • BREAKIN THE SKINNY'S MAN REVENGE ON PEOPLE WHO CAN'T BREAKDANCE LOL

  • I was stationed in Okinawa back in 1984. Friend of mine from NY named Mercer used to mix this song in a club in Kin ville. AND I had a brief hook-up with a girl in the Navy that was stationed at Totsuka Naval Radio Transmitting Facility that looked just like the girl in this vid! Smokin hot!

Wish I had a time machine, just to witness that time again.

  • Moms took me and my little sis to the hood theater to see this. This montage scene is actually pivotal to the 'plot'. Boogaloo Shrimp was no definitely no thespian; but, Chaka's dope tune makes you forget.

  • @93Hisho

was this in scrubs, what episode? and if not where then?

  • @AbhiB zach share it on Facebook dude that's it

  • Oh hell yes man.....what a great movie!!!!!!

  • even with out ipads, smart phones, internet, bluray disc, fancy cars etc the 80's are still better.everyone enjoyed life for what it was now everyone is on the damn cellphones ganing weight..we dont even need to get up our asses to deposit money, just take a picture..LAME'...

  • @ModGyver I agree, well said. And the dancers from that time period had to work twice as hard as nowadays. Because then Breakin, Poppin, Lockin, etc. wasn't that developed as now. Everything had yet to be invented. As a kid, you had to learn via a videorecorder. Fast Forward/Reward demolishing the vunerable heads of the VCR. Now you have YouTube, SYTYCD, ABDC, a danceschool in every major city offering hiphop classes. Back then streetDANCE was real street because ballet was too expensive.

  • @Skaz32225 for sure i was a bboy from 92 to 2002 and it was hard for us, cant imagine in the 80's although my uncle did breakdance in 80's and has all kinds of pictures..i also did alot of graffiti my self and to have fat or skiny tips for the cans was like christmass, now you just order them..i agree with you too..

  • I so wish i was born in the 80's :[

  • @oOoOAssassins if you were born in the 80s you would have missed all of this.

  • @sgreen4 i was about to say the same. born in 72 & loved all this & still do.

  • @sgreen4 Okay, 70's then :D!!

  • @sgreen4 i have been learning all of those intricate hand moves, they are not easy!!!

  • Hhha jds earworm in scrubs:-D dydydydy..:-D

  • I miss the 80's........

Was worth the many trips to the ER trying to copy the dances in this movie, Beat Street and The Pilot (if anyone remembers that one), the bike tricks in RAD and BMX Bandits, the fight scenes in the American Ninja movies, or the Superfly Snuka Splashes and Macho Man Flying Elbow Drops from the WWF. Good times, good times the 80's were.

  • @SnakeMan227 There is an entire generation that feels the same way, bro!

We really had it made as teens in the 80's! Unless you lived through all the craziness, it is nearly impossible to describe this era with mere words!

  • @fred1671 Yeah my mom got tired of taking me to get stitched back up or a new cast....

  • @SnakeMan227 I know all to well... I raced BMX from '83 to around '88, and I was getting busted up or stitched up almost monthly. I had so many of each, I literally lost track of the count by the time I was 18. I feel them all these days, though! LOL!

  • The 1980s had it going on. Now its just gone off. The music, the style the dance moves. Nothing will ever touch those times.

  • God i love these films & to have chaka's aint nobody in the soundtrack just makes it 10 times better

  • Great old school flick....loved this movie growing up..

  • @inghambro You know it! I must have watched it 50 times the year it came out. And still watch it when it comes on the retro movie channel!

  • my all time favorite dance movie ever!!!!!! T.K.O. (Turbo. Kelly. Ozone)

  • So original, what a great time to grow up in. All after it is just a copy. It was a renaissance, the music the, moves, the attitude. It changed the world. Thumbs up if you feel me.

  • Turbo was tha BOMB!!

  • I always loved this song growing up. And this movie is one of those guilty pleasures you watch every time it's on.

  • i remember goin out and doin this every day to earn money

  • back in the 80's you could literally learn anything, learn to dance, build a house, get into shape in only for mins by creating a monteage.

  • one of the best videos ...for dancing ...

  • wow. that was interesting. and entertaining.

  • I used to love this movie when I was kid in the 80s. This is the original STEP UP !

  • Awwww I remember this movie. poppin lockin hoppin droppin there aint no stoppin a teenager in matching neon parachute gearz

  • All the youngsters today think that breakdancing is a fairly new thing so little do they know 28 years ago we were doing it pmsl

  • @spurney68 Make that 30 yrs ago…I started when in jr high. MOST of the kids only do the Power Moves and do not have the nuances that really made this dance form an art. BUT some of the kids today are looking at all the clips and learning from their older uncles and in some cases DADS and are keeping the tradition alive!

  • Símbolo de uma era o break .

    Sensacional.

  • haah

man, now I know we're in trouble

    ahahah

  • @TheWillRogers LMMFAO, that is too funny!! i thought i was tha only who notice shit like dat lol
