Thanks so much for posting this! Our group was campaigning against the seal hunt (it's still legal to kill 300,000 baby seals a year, as long as they are over 12 days old) and I was telling everyone how I remembered this crazy anti-seal hunting cartoon...now I can finally show them this!

No problem. Actually, in the first episode on my VHS, Seabert gets captured for his fur along with hundreds of other baby seals. It saddens me that these types of things happen, and I can't fathom how people can do them without remorse.

I used to watch Seabert on HBO every morning. I always wondered why it was taken off, and never brought back. Pretty sad really. It was a good cartoon, and inspired me in a lot of ways. I used to love how the 2 kids on this cartoon, along with Seabert would put the bad guys in their place when they tried harming the baby seals, or other innocent animals.
