That is awesome! I agree with Ingwstx, I wish sometimes I could do "deaf switch" too. We're not perfect interpreters and neither are deaf. :) but I wouldn't have my wonderful job without them! Thanks for the laugh!
OMGLOL hahahaHAHA!!! I have been tempted to do that freezing trick, but never actually did. I was tempted today, actually, by a really nasty caller. But I did my job anyway, cuz I'm a good girl.
'Switch Deaf person' is like my FAVORITE thing to imagine saying to people who show up shirtless in a dark room on a 256K connection and can't spell 'John' without an X and a 7 and a nasty look on their face. I LOVE IT! (For the record I love Deaf people. Mean people, on the other hand, really suck.)
