@RPGE5U5 this game is actually one of the best megaman X games, the ones that REALLY pissed off the true megaman X fans we're megaman X 5, 6, and 7 they're just horrible. and even get me starded on how cheesy command mission was.... i mean 2 steps, ramdom ecounter, X says YES, we did it :D, 2 more steps, ANOTHER RANDOM ECOUNTER etc etc.

@MarioBro343250 Oh I agree when I say those ones are much, much worse, but this started the direction into deeper storyline than necessary and cheesy lines and stuff. Its tolerable, unlike 5, 6, and 7, but I just liked the simplicity of the first three. Kind of like the original 6 MegaMans and then 7 is the x4 and 8 is just garbage in my opinion.

I find it intriguing how the closeups of X make him look older, but how exactly do robots age? Capcom should've kept him with a younger look, but make his armor more worn and chipped or scratched. Armored Core makes veteran ACs look good.

@FatetheHedgehog well I included MMX6 in the comment, it was one of my 1st PSX games, and I enjoyed it a lot, specially when I found out how to get Zero playable, and well, X7 isn't worth it, and X8 LESS... If you enjoyed the other X games, you should most deff try out the Megaman Zero ones, they are even better, and have a better storyline

That and a lot of people hate X6 idk why, My opinions: Its megaman X its a franchise, and its awesome I'll play any of them. Except maybe X7...

@FatetheHedgehog Yeah, but the best part of Megaman X, up to X5 because it was meant to be the real ending to X series, is that you can connect it's plot to Megaman, and to Megaman Zero, and then from Megaman Zero to Megaman ZX, so it's a really extensive plot, I've been reading from the Megaman Wikia for 2 days straight more or less and it's awesome

@EXHellfire ah, I did know that X5 was supposed to be the last of the X series, and that would have been a bit disappointing but I'm no one to decide how it should work.

@FatetheHedgehog The creator of Megaman wanted it to be the last game of the X series so he decided that and went to work on Megaman Zero, which was meant to chain to the first 5 X games, but the fans wanted more and Capcom made X6 on his back without letting him know so the storyline has horrible plotholes thanks to that, if you take the last 3 X games into account, that's why I never do that, no matter how fun X6 was

To get ultimate armor X: Go over X in the character select screen and press circle(2), left(6). You should hear a noise if done right. Now hold L1 & R2 and select X. Don't let go until starting. If you did this right Part of X should be kind of purple. Now beat the intro level and go to the Web Spider stage. Get the leg part and you will be ultimate armor X!

for this one do you lose anything when you pick to play as x or zero first? like in x5 how if you chose zero you lost the force armor and if you chose x you lost the z buster?
