I was so POed that I wasn't able 2 go on this ride with my parents for my 21st birthday weekend. They were remodeling it.

Actually, it's not illegal. If anything, it would be against the rules, and even that isn't the case. You're free to record video on any ride in any Disney park unless they specifically say otherwise (ie: Tower, Maliboomer, any of the 3d shows, etc).

They look very similar to me, i liked this ride the best in Paris.

Not one of my favorite rides, but this one looks better than the one at Disney World I'm used to. The guns at the one in Disney World are attached to the car (you can't lift them), making them a big pain to try to mainipulate.

I'm not sure what you mean? Like an additional lens? If so, yes, I used an x0.45 wide angle conversion lens (and its not exactly small ;) )
