I took my headphones literally three times thinking that I was hearing something outside my window. Only then did I realize the full effect of the background drumming. My God, this is amazing. I was listening on an HD 25-1 II, which made the suddenly apparent soundstage even more shocking!

The binaural effect is amazing (I had done binaurals recordings by myself), but for music listening it is not good (for ME). Because I don't want to have a room between my ears and the music. This is why I love listen music through head phones and not through loudspeakers.

Same here as everyone else. Not my type of music, but this album is simply amazing. I can see it coming in handy for when you're doing something mundane. Then, it could feel like something is going on around you.

oh my god. i didnt buy the album because i thought the music(originally)was sort of bland, but now i am definitely considering it. i almost took off my headphones when the drums started because i thought that people outside my house were playing drums really loud.

@headfi JUDE! haha you never really respond on headfi but i know you are a really cool guy. i got the max audio converter(free, thanks to suggestions from my friends on headfi)and was wondering whether the fact that the album is 24 bit would make it a problem when putting it on my iphone. i was going to convert the flac file to alac, so just wondering-if the answer is no(that is, i can put it on my iphone)im definitely a go for the album

I bought this when it was first released & being a big fan if binaural recording rate it very highly - I hope this receives support from HeadFiers because I for one would relish more binaural releases - imagine the possibilities!!
