I am excited for Halo 4, but without Bungie I have a bad feeling that it may be disappointing in comparison. Then again, no one got nothin' on the first two Halo's.
@Luis11717 True, I didn't really like Reach at all. But it does have its good points. Its soundtrack was an awesome addition to the other soundtracks and overall the game looked great, it didn't really tie in with the other Halos well, but it was still pretty fun.
The whole thing is orgasmic, but 6:06 to the end is just fucking GODLIKE. Marty's blend of choral chord changes and electronic beats and melodies is incredibly unique and fucking awesome. I really, really hope Halo 4's soundtrack at least comes close to that kind of innovation and quality.

halo 2 showed us the story from the covenant and show us about the greatest journey and the holy city of High Charity. it was one of the best and it will never be forgoten i will allway rember halo thro its music .
Halo 3 was by far the worst game in the series. But it was still an exceptional game. That's how good the Halo series is. Even its worst game is awesome! :D
@Artoofeva honestly, i felt Halo 2 was the best in campaign and music, but Halo 3's campaign was pretty good too. Halo 3 did better in multiplayer, IMHO.
Halo 3 was in no means a bad game, I did have some problems with it though:
The brutes in halo 2 were very ferocious, they took punches to the face like it was nothing. When they went berserk, I was quite intimidated, seeing them run so fast on all fours. They no longer rage to this extent in halo 3. 3's were weak compared to 2.
You don't fight the elites anymore. Now I know this has to do with the whole storyline and the covenant civil war, but I think it took out a big part of the gameplay.
@Ghostgunace67 The Brutes were weaker because there were more of them, and they were the main Covenant enemy in Halo 3, since you no longer fought the Elites. If they were still that ferocious it would just be too damn hard. Okay, not really.
@Blueice506 You can still have them in the game though, maybe they could of made two types of brutes like they did with the jackels in reach? I don't know. I think it really went down hill when they took out the flood in odst and reach, in halo 1 they were crazy!

@MrTsorge halo 2 was better in my opinion. It took off from where CE ended very well. The story line was great, and more advance than CE's. All you did in halo 1 is blow up a ring really. In halo 2 you learn the true purpose of halo, what it was meant to do and how the covenant are false in every way. You see how truth is manipulating all the species to hide his true intent. And the character development on arbiter as he sees through the lies and realizes how deluded the covenant really is.
@MrTsorge agreed halo 2 was a bit of a letdown for me atleast, so manny of the singelplayer missions where so boring to play. halo 2 is the weakest game of the series along with odst. the rest was great.

I miss this music. Halo's music has downgraded after 3. Halo 2 had some of the most beautiful scores I've heard. The entire game provided such an experience.

Listen to it and tell me honestly it doesn't make you miss those days long ago when Halo was still so new....... unfinished. Halo 2 and 1 had the best multiplayer because it was simple and fun, not trying to do anything way out of proportion. Change is not always good.

Cod sucks now, but mw2 was at least fun (something Halo can never manage). Shooting a person in the head in mw1 and 2 was satisfying in the greatest of ways, although yeah Black ops and mw3 are horrible.

i'm no troll but i must say, halo 2 isn't all that its cracked up to be, the story line was retarded, i was expecting somthing epic with a built up intense ending like halo CE where it was like your moment from going down with the ring. instead i get left with a crappy boss fight? wtf? besides storyline the game play wasn't as good as CE or 3 either, imo it really wasn't a good game, music was great tho, ill give it that

@MrTsorge Halo 2's ending was anti-climatic compared to Halo 1's. The multiplayer made this game what it is today. Halo 2 was new and original. It had all kinds of glitches, easter eggs, you name it. The BXR, the Double and Quad Shots.. you can have your opinions about it but.....Halo 2 was the shit bro.......

@MrTsorge halo 2 was better in my opinion. It took off from where CE ended very well. The story line was great, and more advance than CE's. All you did in halo 1 is blow up a ring really. In halo 2 you learn the true purpose of halo, what it was meant to do and how the covenant are false in every way. You see how truth is manipulating all the species to hide his true intent. And the character development on arbiter as he sees through the lies and realizes how deluded the covenant really is.
