  • what's the speed? 60mph?

  • wow, doesn't look too bad, thought it would be worse...4*?

  • who pays for cars to be crashed would this have been B.L. or euroNcap

  • ive got a car made of plastic im fucked

  • silver rover 25 2003 reg. you think this is bad? you should see the other car

  • Cars with 3 stars are generally average for crashprotection;you wouldn't walk away from this unscathed

  • in any car on the road, whether 5 star or not, in this scenario you would never come out unscathed! best safety feature anybody could intoduce, is to take all the morons off the roads lol

  • EuroNCAP cars with 4 or 5 star ratings generally protect you better in a crash than those with 3 and below.

  • But with a 5star euroncap rated cars you generally have a better chance of survival in a collision!

  • Not good? it's not that bad! I thought it did quite well, it fairs no worse than the outgoing BMW 3 series (E36) of the 90s as an example.

  • shiiiiiiiiiiit, musnt crash then!

  • i own a rover 25 dark blue year 2000. hope i dont crash it

  • 220sdi Is A Good Car - Ive Got One

    N Reg

  • Not good on frontal impacts! And it could've done better.

  • Actually, the old Rover 100/Metro did way worse than even this! One star

  • My god that was a quick reply!!! They did make changes, Possibly the 1995 model wouldnt of done as well.

  • Not bad for a 1995 car. If Rover had made a few alterations they could of made it achieve 4 stars.

  • The Rover 25 Was Released In 1999

    Model Tested Is 2000/2001

  • There is nothing I don't know about the R24 - believe me. But new headlights in 1999 does not make it a new car. It is almost identical to the 1995 Rover 200.

  • Good Ppoint

They Must Of Made SOME Changes To The Body Tho

    Mabye

  • changes to the body were, strengthened floorpan, improved crush cans, strengthened sills, improved lower dash and steering column mounts, redesigned front crossmember behind bumper and revised gauge steel for the A pillars along with revised B post to reduce door overlap on impact. - hope that helps

  • just check out the Lightning 150 crash tests

  • better then that Alfa 146 though!

  • true. Ya can get small cars that protect a heck of a lot better than some big ol SUV. Don't like SUVs anyway

  • It was a 3-star car (see EuroNCAP site)

  • ooo not good! That certainly isn't gonna be a 5 star car, let alone 4 star.
