I so so miss those old L.P. days! Do you heard of the: "Cracker Jack" Surprise packages? Years ago... We used to get something extra in our purchases!
"Cracker Jack candy & Cereal used to come with toys"! So did our Music L.P.'s for only $12.00! The Alice Album was a Calendar with a Pic of himself hanging from a noose! His other albums had similiar surprises: Posters; Panties, School Desk... etc.! Screw the 50 cent CD plastic that they now charge $25.00 for!!! Grrr
@manwhassup1 YOU KNOW IT, Whassup1 !!!! Today's Music is ALL FILLER, NO KILLER, left, anymore!! At "LEAST" Alice is STILL active, making NEW Records, STILL touring , like a CHAMP!!!..."YES, where did "WE" Fail?? AT LEAST "WE" STILL have ALICE COOPER, So there will be an "ARTIST" that "WE" LOVE!! ...UNCONDITIONALLY! Just like A Good Dog, but even THOSE who leave this Plane, WILL ALWAYS be REMEMBERED< FOREVER!!!! :) !!
Now there was a great band back in the day! My favourite! Of course I bought BAYCITY ROLLER records for attention but ended up liking them. Alice Cooper still is the coolest.
I saw the Billion Dollar and the Nightmare tour and got confused...The original ACG are still a classic rock and roll band that paved the way for some many others. Glam, Punk, Performance Art with a Rock N Razer Edge...Love em to Death...
this song absolutly drives me well you know most rock stations dont have the balls to play good alice cooper music and this is definatly one of my favories
Been of fan of the originals...ACG...one of the first albums I bought was "Love it to Death", when it came out new...ACG needs to be in the Hall of Fame...Cleveland does not ROCK!!! without Alice and the boys...Saw ACG once only on Billion Tour...Buxton was on stage but to far gone on that tour to play..He was unplugged and Ezrin's favorite guitarist Hunter & Wagner played off stage...They still rocked harder than any other band Alice played with since..SHAME they lost it...
Hunter and Wagner did not play off stage for Buxton live. That would be Mick Mashbir who was actually on stage. Glen was still plugged in, but played minimally.
@Zenutheduck ...Thank you for the correction if wikipedia is correct. After many years and many shows they get confused..I remember by the time the show hit our town the rock press was whispering that Glen was not performing live...We went to the concert and zeroed in on Glen and he was not performing his leads..I saw the "Nightmare" tour which musically was so different a tone and that had Hunter and Wagner as dueling leads "a la Bob Ezrin",,,I like others wore out my LPs and Taped.Thnx Peace!
My favorite Alice Cooper record - I was lucky enough to see the concert for this, Alice Cooper at the Hollywood Bowl, with the guillotine and hanging executions, snakes of course, great fun!
@chiero57 And don't forget to mention Michael Bruce too ;). These incredible guys put so much energy into this amazing song, like they never did before. R.I.P. Glen!
@couch63 I love The killer album, i actually wore out the first one..( record ) and bought a second... and i agree new bands could never keep up to this.. only one band not really new been around 15 yrs, that have really impressed me.. listen to walk foo fighters, that song builds up..
I promise you my firstborn if you'd be so kind as to upload Mr. and Misdemeanor. I really want my band to learn it but I as much as I love them I don't trust a one of those motherfuckers to get my copies back to me if I loan them out.
Will you consider it? There's a healthy newborn child in it for you. You can always sell the kid if you don't like it ;).
@twoinchgambler My guess would be lots of reverb/echo and two guitar tracks, one a little lower pitched bend. I thought maybe tremolo too but maybe just lots of studio reverb. Very cool guitar work all over this album.
