While music in my early teenage years was PHENOMENAL, by the time I was 16 and old enough to go to shows on my own there was no Nirvana, The Offspring's best stuff was behind them, Green Day had become terrible, and the Sex Pistols incredible re-union shows were over. Late 90's rock was complete crap like Korn, MM, Nickelback, and even (shudders) Limp Bizkit. It was AWFUL for years b4 The Strokes, The Hives, and the White Stripes in the 2000s.
