  • Vac, brush, backwash, the add shock and algicide. Those little 1lb. Bags of shock aren't nearly enough. Let it run 24 hours per day backwash often until it's clear.

  • I hate cleaning the pool...

  • ye i baught that shock and its still .. and make sure you do it close to the water

  • that pools is GREEEN!!!! if i let my pool turn green i would be fired!

  • shocking is a good start but... This pool is in need of a flock clairifier followed by a weekly or a twice monthly clarifying gel tab or powder. She is right about scrubbing. Scrub walls and bottom even if you did a great job vacuuming. Scrub the ladder and all hard to reach places. I would also use an alge treatment at this point. Also a skimmer basket sock is also a great idea here. I use one ALWAYS. Once pool is clear follow up with weekly vacuuming and backwashes. 3-6 lbs of baking soda

  • @RatDog67 my pool has no backwash setting

  • pop

  • @Firestormify unfortunately completely draining your pool typically voids one's warranty. Also filling up a pool water from scratch isn't cost affective especially if you have to re-balance your water afterward. and as far as the shock goes dichloride (or however you spell it) is the best shock for pools, and as she was saying by lowering the pH the chlorine turns into more hypochlorous acid rather than hydrochloric acid, and by doing so the chlorine will be much more effective.

  • Um, I use regular scent Clorox to shock my pool. I keep shocking until the "break point" is achieved and then let the chlorine level settle to normal levels before the pool is allowed to be used. Works.

  • @mortalstorm by clorox do u mean chlorine, and do u just add extra chlorine, because thats what Ive been doing, and not letting anyone swim in it. Its cleared up a bit but not completly.

  • @FantasticFace Yes. Regular old Clorox. You can also use the liquid shock sold in pool stores...same thing, just higher concentration so you'll use less. To properly shock your pool to completely get rid of the algae, you just don't dump it in your pool willy nilly. You need a good chemical testing kit (Taylor is one) to do the job right. By checking the level of free chlorine in the pool as you shock, you will know when you're done. Go to troublefreepooldotcom for more detailed info.

  • @FantasticFace Whether you are talking about the brand name "Chlorox" or bleach or chlorine you are talking about Sodium Hypochlorite. I would never use "Chlorox" in my pool because it is only 5 1/4% Sodium Hypochlorite. Use Chlorox if you have the laundry blues and doing a load of whites but not in the pool. Go to your local pool supply store and purchase the Sodium Hypochlorite which will be either 10% or better yet 12 1/2%. Make sure your pool pH is approx 7.6 pH units or the Chlorine is

  • @cwaddle100 not activated. The killing species is the Chlorite ion and it does not function or kill at a higher pH. In other words, the Sodium Hypo is pH sensitive and you will need to use an acid to drop the pool pH into the proper control range which is 7.4 to 7.6 pH units. So again, use the commercial grade 12 1/2% Sodium Hypo to kill the algae or any bacteria in the pool. Hope this helps and have a great day.

  • I love your accent woman not to mention that great butt can you bent over in the next section

  • @a1lover78 nice comment, loved it. maybe next time she'll show us in a swimsuit...nice butt though....

  • great butt......sexy and smart

  • lmao milf wow

  • MILF

  • Shes gorgeous!

  • if this is a fiberglass pool dichlor should not just be sitting on the surface, and man up and dump it in one place then brush the pool completely down.

  • JUST CHANGE THE Water.....

  • @keithahfua sometimes spending 20 bucks is cheaper than using up 15 20,000 gallons? dumb ass....

  • @Hugoboss206 okay mutherfucker! i don't know anything about a pool... i was just saying just change the water.... i guess us up here in alaska, the water is always free... and yes, we do have pools up here too... dumb ass....

  • @keithahfua alaska or zimbobway water is water we shouldnt be wasting.. i love how ppl get very offended. hey take your meth head back in your cabin.

  • @Hugoboss206 lmaooooo... ur funny dude! by the way, i'm too smart for meth....hahahaha!!!

  • Can u snort it.?

  • how about a drain and acid wash, i dont think one bag of that shit is gonna work sexy old lady

  • 0:00

  • i d like to give her a back wash.

  • MILF

  • GILF!

  • ur old

  • M.I.L.F.!

  • You need to use trichlor, more than one bag, more like 10 bags, and some algae killer along with the shock. Plus this pool probably has phosphates.

  • Phosfree is the only product you need to get rid of algae... naturally. That pool would have been totally clear within 36 hours of a dose of Phosfree.

  • this woman thinks she is on some sort of cooking show, with the idiotic explanations,...a duh...bake for 30 minutes..then all those idiot woman laugh.ha ha ha ha.........Pour the chemicles in and let er RIp......go get laid or something

  • Brush It , Bomb It and Test it .

Google - Pool Water Testing and test online

  • You should empty pool and clean it.

    Add fresh water and chlorine.

  • TheMadFlea is right not everyone knows how to properly empty there pool without creating damage. and there is no sense in wasting water that can easily be cleaned.

  • The chemicals balance unstable water smartass. It's not like cause I dumped 5 gallons of shock in the pool it's still there. It's chlorine and evaporates and dissipates with sunlight and even just while it works... You had a question mark so you asked for my opinion! Notice I had no question marks so please don't respond as I already don't trust you. Mine was 50 bucks to open, not 100. I bought $50 worth of Budweiser. It makes the water look even better. Trust me

  • I hope no one trusts the comments in this post. Pools come in a wide variety so all the information given here could harm other types of pools. It is VERY dangerous to drain your pool if you don't know what youre doing. In Oregon, USA the water table is very high and it will pop your pool right out of the ground.

  • you can dump all the chemicals u want in the water but is that really the answer?..at the point your pool is that green and u have zero visability, you must drain and refill the water...costs less then 50 bucks on your water bill..you service the filter once before you refill, add your startup chemicals, and start fresh..lets say it did clear up. who wants to swim in water that even USE to look like that let alone water full of crazy chemicals?

  • You're wrong. If you understand chemistry a little, you'll know that water (H2O) never goes "bad". It's what's mixed with it that makes you think it's bad. If you've ever filled a pool with tap water without adding any chemicals, you'll notice it's green in color. And guess what, that's water you can drink. You should only risk draining and refilling the pool as an absolute last resort or if your pool looks like a swamp.

  • Am i wrong for not wanting to swim/and or drink the water from the pool above? i never implied the water was "bad" but most would consider that pool to be a swamp full of living bacteria. You are wrong! Pool water does goes bad. Phospate and TDS levels increase over time..thats why professionals recommend changing the water every 5-7 years depending on use. In closing, i hope you get cancer from your chlorine shock and algae treatments

  • does your bath tub look like that too lady?gross why you let it get that bad!!!!

  • That's what I call a Gatorade Pool!!! si señor!!!

  • clean the filter throw 2 scoops triclor especially around the stains and then 2 ta 3 gallons of chlorine use a 50/50(half nylon half metal) brush to scrub the walls and the floor for the algae buildup and it also stirs up the chemicals wait a few days the water should clear up then you should be able to vacuum but your gonna have to clean the filter again then check your chemicals. If your ph is to high add acid if it is to low add soda ash. NEVER DO THIS WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION

  • i c u know about it! i do the same everytime i shocked my customers pools

  • Why not apply the Shock in the skimmer so we can get a good mix?

  • its is better to sprinkler it in the bottom, so it can kill the algae faster! its also good to put a i little bit in the skimmer, so it kill the algae in the pump and in the filter, anyway you need to clean the filter constantly to see better results

  • Never put the shock in the skimmer. It sends a very high amount of chlorine to the pump and filter tank. The high levels eat the seals, especialy to multi port valve and pump seals.

  • Ghe-tto Boo-Tay!

  • eww thats gross

  • Looks like the pool is ready for St. Patricks Day, just like the Chicago River!!

  • noooo, thats shrek's pool!

  • it would be so hilarious if she fell in LOL

  • @lafoutloud9999 her nail almost broke on shock bag
