April 11th 2008 was when URU live shut down, not that you'd know anything about that. 2008 was a terrible year for me, starting with a dying guinea pig, and ending with yet another ruined Christmas due to assumptions. I'd call that year "2008 of hate"! This cheers me up, though. I've been watching Kraftwerk on YouTube for too long, so it's time I saw them face to face in a live concert, but there's no info on a 2010 concert yet!
I love this band and the song is sublime. Everyone once in a while you get a band or an artist that really changes things, and this is one of them. BTW If you like this check out my music, it has a similar kind of vibe.
Another version than the one from 81 was released in 1991 on The Mix. The live version still sounds cool, it's a shame it didn't make it on the Minimum Maximum live cd.
@HandShattered : pretty sure the reason why the song never made to the MinMax is that its copyrighted by Karl Bartos who came up with the riff that Coldplay also used.. imo..

@Gjohnnie It just wasn't played on the 2004 tour, that's why it was not on the album.
According to the writing credits Karl co-wrote the song with Hütter and Schult, so he can't copyright the song alone or prevent Kraftwerk from releasing it. (Kraftwerk played and released many other tracks on Minimum Maximum that Karl co-wrote so it's not the reason.)

Actually, as the user who's comment was marked as spam remarked, they are. They're playing their third concert in Krakow, Poland, today, and then they go to Kiev in the Ukraine. After that they're heading for Australia.
They will be playing in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. That in November. Be sure you check their homepage, and you'd better buy the tickets soon if you don't want to miss them. Good luck.

the way Autobahn goes at the beginning here makes me think of "Tonight's gonna be a good night". I don't really know how that's called.

I'm probably like this song, because I spend several hours at a time in front of a computer.

I don't get why this was live in 2008, but never made it to the DVD version, which is older!
