To me the W.O.G accent is as much Australian as any Skippy accent & I'd go so far as to say that it is indeed a branch of the Skip accent cause neither are English

Both are longstanding Australian accents which have influenced & therefore changed one another to now share a common vernacular of home grown slang

Just for my 2cents, as a part Anglo part Aboriginal Australian, I feel the W.O.G [the age group that started it said to me 30yrs ago that it stands for Wealthy Oriental Gentleman] is indeed an Aussie accent, cause among many things, it derives from Aus.
