@asakapa2012 yes cydia needs to be installed, this can only be done with a jailbroken device. I have no say however on how to do that since i stopped jailbreaking for almost 2 years now. i hope this helps

Hi, I just jailbroked my iPod Touch 2G and I installed winterboard through cyder2 just the way you showed here.. but my problem is, my ipod shows winterboard icon on the screen but when i touch it to open it.. it goes all black screen and returns to the main menu. I have Rebooted and respringed my iPod for more than 15 times now.. its not helping!! please help me!! :(
