in order words .. I still need the PS2 to connect to the USB converter to computer. the only benefit is you're using a computer versus TV??

No the ps2 mat can plug right into the converter and you plug that into the usb port into your computer.

Where do you put the folder so it works? o.o

treat it like any other theme and paste the folder in C:\Program Files\StepMania\Themes then go into stepmania and go to options/appearance/theme and change it to chris'_theme then it will work.
