  • ok I find it cool that you want to stay in shape and riding is a great way to do it and I thouroughly respect you for that, however for most of your trip you are staying to the emergency lane...but on some of the ride you are not... I.e. 3:40 - 4:00. Isnt that why the sidewalk is there?

You are gonna encounter a crap load of assholes out there which is to be expected but I still respect your decision.

  • Bicycles in most states are considered vehicles. If you are drunk and riding a bike on public roads you go to jail for DUI just like a motor vehicle. That means you have to use turn lanes, stop at lights, etc. etc. Also cars are not supposed to pass a cyclist when they are in the turn lane. Bicycles are NOT ALLOWED TO USE SIDEWALKS.

  • weapondrift- what is the second word in SIDEWALK? GET back to me when you figure it out!

  • People like this are why I drive a Nissan, because I have a brain and don't need a giant gas-guzzling V8 penis extension to drive back and forth to work in.

  • I never had a Nissan. I drove an old Toyota Celica for a while and it was indestructable.

  • Scary vid! Don't you get scared about those metal and plastic big monsters?

It looks like that American roads are thought to be used only by cars.

And by the way, Do you wear reflective cloths such as a Safety vest and use rear mirror?

    Good ride and Be careful.

  • Im kind of desensitized to the threat of death my monster truck by now. The funny thing is the roads here are actually wider than in Europe. The prblem is that many of the vehicles are G I G A N T IC!

The SUVs and trucks were getting bigger and bigger every year. For the time being that has stopped. I have reflective tape on my bike and helmet and I have very bright led taillights and headlight that I turn on when I ride even in daylight.

  • Don't worry man In ten or so years they won't be able to afford gas for their poorly made, inefficient sh!t boxes and will have to start riding a bike and won't know how. Can't wait for that day. When the field will be leveled by their own hands. Bunch of morons with nothing better to do.

  • Other than the "morans" I noticed that the road surface is terrible in quite a few of your vids. Stay safe fella.

  • Its pretty bumpy out there . Thanks for the comment!

  • Is it legal to cycle on the sidewalks? You appear to have some nice wide ones that are remarkably pedestrian free compared to the UK.

  • Nope. You would get a ticket if you rode a bike on the sidewalk. Bicycles are considered vehicles and are required to use the turn lanes and stop at stop signs like cars. Bikes are supposed to have the right of way and cars are supposed to yield but that never happens.
