  • did u film this with a piece of pizza?

  • if i had $50 buck for each pixel in this video i would owe you money...

  • did you film this with a potato?

  • welker getting it done

  • Video quality is too high

  • Can't see shit captin!

  • To throw my two cents in, this is most likely a designed pivot route to beat man coverage. Welker fakes a hard cut to the inside then pivots (hence the route name) back to the outside. With his flawless route running and quick feet Welker makes a living off of these short double move routes.

  • Shut up, theres different names for different routes in different places.

    DIFFERENT.

  • thank you, at least there are other people in this world with a freaking brain.

who in the world would ever think that there could be two names for the same route? how odd

  • actually u can call a route by different names

  • hey, that's pretty good typin' though! :-)

  • haha

  • welkers not that fast but he the quickest guy i even seen lol noone can cover him

  • hard to tell whats going on

  • I dunno what Welker's 40 time is, but his 10 time must be the best in the league. That boy's got some POW!

  • hell no that route is called the pivot route its a slant turned into a out i'm not going to explain what i don't know like this guy trying to sound smart

  • It's called a 'smash' route. You take three steps than cut like you're doing a slant, and after two steps that way cut it back to the outside.

  • its call a pivot, i played quarterback and know the routes.

  • I'm currently a wide receiver at a D-III school, and we call it smash... so I don't know. Does it have a different name if you do it from the slot vs. from the outside?

  • well i play high school wide out don't the route only slot does it

  • Apparently you don't have to be in the slot to do it, because we do it on the outside all the time.

  • Apparently your a 12 year old douchebag.

  • Common receiver route - it's called an "Arrow Route" - you go inside, read the linebacker, if he vacates the area, you sit and wait for the ball there, if he's not vacating, you reverse field and go out - just as Welker does here...
