  • Super, I have learned the first blocks and am wondering if you have blocks G and I. You are fantastic, what your playing and instruction for me is so appreciated. Thank you.

  • Superb.

  • beautiful acoustics in that tunnel

  • Are you "puckering" this, or tongue blocking ?

  • @musik102 both

  • I adore your playing style. I think you are the Swedish McCoy. Could you share with me the Tabs from 1:21 (as I haven't found it in your lessons) Thanks in advance.

  • NICE MEN NICE

  • @silasouren thanks man

  • Your lessons are the best I've found. My playing has improved since I discovered your videos. I tend to have issues with timing and your lessons have been very helpful. I would love to see lessons on parts 4 & 5!

  • @khvlll

  • Grymt bra är de inspelat i östersund?

  • Tackar!

Det är i Surahammar (utanför Västerås)

  • I like it a lot

  • wow too good

  • I tried your lessons for this song, very good. but this is ooutstanding, you should re-release it, I would like to say awesome but it needs some Bass if you know what I mean, apart from that who am I to argue with Haka. Good Job fb

  • Thanks for your comments! It´s a nice challenge for a harp player to do something without any other instruments

  • Well, there are actually a huge amount of tunnels allover town.I just don`t have enough time to get to them on a lunch break. Unfortunately I live in a different town than the one I work in.

  • I tried on one of my lunch breaks. The tunnel is a pedestrian/bike tunnel that is directly right next to a major road into town that goes under two sets of train tracks.

Way too much noise and too many bicyclists!

  • Yes I´m aware of the problem. If you find the location interesting maybe you can try a sunday

  • Out of all of the lunch break practicing I have been doing the last 3 months I can not believe I never practiced in the bike/pedestrian tunnel a mere 50-60 yards from where I work! This will change on Monday!

  • Good luck!

  • awesome

  • Shit man!! You must be some harmonica god reincarnateded!!

Thank's for the inspiration. If I wasn't inspired before I so was now.

  • Thanks for your comments! I don´t believe in god or gods, but a harmonica god should be OK i think

  • AWESOME !!!

  • i want a tunnel ,lol

  • Fan vad fränt! :) Riktigt bra.. Kolla in min lillebror när jag kompar en blues :)

  • Hi Again HakanEhn, been watchin this video and its made me want to buy a harmonica! what do i need for this tune! (did you say A ?) its amazing.

  • yes the harp is in A

  • the tunnel echo really adds alot to it. really enjoyed listening to you planing.

  • Nice to hear! In my hometown Stockholm I couldn´t to this since there are always people everywhere, but this tunnel is always empty.

  • Very good indeed!! I wish my little egg shaker produced as good a sound as you get in this. I particularly liked the Sonny Terry riff that you wove into it.

    Keep blowing! Keep posting.

  • Thank you. Yes I believe it´s Sonny Terry, you´re the first one who noticed!

  • Hey Hakan, please please HARMONICA LESSONS STONE FOX CHASE: PART 4, there's a lot of stuff, riffs and licks that we would like to learn from a great harmonica player!

  • Thank you very much!

I really like this song so I can also do part 4. But first I have to se if part 3 is interesting to youtubers or if I already have done too many parts.

  • This rocks

  • Thanks. Yes I like the tunnel. The grafitti is nice too.

  • this is amazing!

  • Man this is awesome and you can feel the heat...

  • that is sooooooo cool, found this by accident, what a lucky find, I may even pick up my dusty harps and start playing again. Dude you rock.

  • Good one - so many don't get it right.

  • Thank you, I am not near Mark Feltham´s (Nine Below Zero) version who is my source of inspiration for this song. But I´m having fun.

  • A masterpiece from you, wow! is amazing mister Hakan! may you tell me which are the notes of your tongue blocking chords?

    Thank you

    six stars for you master!

You can watch info about the tongue blocking chords in the video I uploaded:

"Harmonica Lessons: Stone Fox Chase Part 3"

    Hakan

  • It,s so good a smile every time i listen. Always wanted to learn this tune. I am a late learner, so this is going to take me a while. You inspire me Hakan. Thankyou for your time.

  • Just take your time and have fun!

To get the kind of response you give me creates energy for making new videos.

    Håkan

  • You play too damn good! If i could I would 5 star it but its deactivated.

  • EXCELLENT! I love the HUGE reverb effect you got from that tunnel. Your playing of that piece is perfect - what a great video!

  • cooooooooooooooooolllll!

  • Interesting tab layout. I like the way you divided the segments into seconds of the video; quite helpful.

Rock on. Or, in our case, harp on! ^.^

  • Great rhythm. Great natural echo. This is awesome.

  • EXCELLENT SONG! Thanks for posting this.. and very thorough in the about the video... but you should also include which Key harp you are using.. I can see you getting asked that a lot!

    *****!!!!! Thanks!

  • Thanks for your response and also for your advice! I forgot to say I am using an A harp, Hohner Golden Melody.

    Håkan

  • Fantastic! What else should i write.

But Where's your Version from The Wind cries Mary and the status-quo cover from coraline?

They were also very good. I'm missing them.

Go on like this!! You've got the blues...

And please excuse my bad english

  • Hi, I agree with you, I also like them very much but I have decided to focus on solo blues harmonica only. So these videos are not available any more on my site.

  • pretty cool bub

  • Excellent tune. MONSTER RIFF!

  • I absolutely love Stone Fox Chase.

    And the accoustics are awesome!

  • Nice playing Hakan, sounds cool in that tunnel, and a groovy tune.
