Hi,BharatGul, not sue whether we could call Helen as being Anglo-Indian-Burmese.Helen is of mixed parentage -Mother is Burmese and her Father is British ....at the most we could call her Anglo-Burmese . She migrated to India soon after independance and it appears that she had tough time during her initial years of inception .However, glamour and hardwork seem to have paid rich dividends and she ruled the silver screen for over twenty years effortlessly with such high eccolade.Regards.
Cuckoo the mentor and her disciple Helen together in an evergreen song-dance number. Superb team work by S-J , Lata Mangeshkar and Geeta Dutt. Another window on the diversity of old Indian cinema too, Cuckoo being Anglo-Indian and Helen being Anglo-Indian-Burmese. Thanks,kalakar67.
This was the song that the GREAT Lata Mangeshkar used when speaking of her "dear friend" Geeta Dutt, for a left-handed compliment: "The thing about Geeta was that she couldn't sing very high notes" (in "Lata in her own voice").
As is well known, crocodiles too can shed tears...!

At 0:13-0:14 Helen cleverly wipes off her face but makes it appear as a part of dance movements.
