@Zeldarulah Haha. Well most reviewers of this game on youtube just say that they liked the game. They never talked about WHY they liked it or what elements made it as such. So I thought this review gave me more insight into what to expect with the game. I watched this video to see whether or not I wanted to buy it on the 3DS, which I did end up getting.

Is this like Tales of Vesperia where you can run up and hack n slash? Or do you select an attack and then wait for your character to move up and perform it by themselves.

@InsideAVitalSuit It is like every other Tales game, more specifically it's very similar to all the Project Symphonia made ones. (ToS, TotA, ToV), so yes.

i played tales of symphonia 2 on wii,. and i just started playing this but i noticed that the world map lags and a few other bugs,.. nothing big, im like 2 hours in after meeting the weird cute thing with the ring . IM SLOW at these sorts of games FF12 took me 110 hours to beat not including times i died and had to do certain things over lol. or being stuck at some boss :P anyways good review, i will eventually finish this one.

This game is in my top 3 of all time, but I disagree with one thing. Audio is hella important in a game, it makes up a huge chunk of the experience and a lot of people go into making it sound right. Without Audio (or the right audio) the game would drastically change. Not trying to start anything lol, Im just making my opinion.

personally i thought that luke made the game funny as hell i didnt think that he was a whining guy i mean he complained alot he didnt whine luke was talking about people that needed to be talked about i thought he got really nice later on

In my opinon this is the best Tales game (nex to Phantasia of course).

The characters really make up for whatever it lacks.

I disagree with you on the soundtrack, I LOVED all the music.

But I guess that's just a matter of personal opinon.

All the music? Even the qliphoth, the choral castle, eldrant, *insert other area with incredibly generic song here*? :P

I thought they were all dull except some battle themes. Especially when you compare it to like ToD or ToD2 where each area has pretty good music.

"Meaning of Birth" it loops through the whole song >_> It's the song from the second Asch battle and it's a rendition of the themesong, Karma. There are a few other versions too.

That's a really accurate rating of the game, and... I only agree about some of the music, but I'm extremely open-minded when it comes to music, so I don't notice when it's boring. 8D

Hah yeah. What I mean is that I don't hate the songs, it's just that none of them were really that memorable except the opening theme remixes and the (Lastboss) battles.

xD I totally agree with everything you say here, but hearing the numbers on the replay stuff is mind-boggling. I know there's a hell of a lot of Side quests, but to HEAR someone say 150 is just something else. And you're right, Jade is the most awesome character ever, just for the lines.

But, did I see Ion in battle there? O_o

Yeah, according to my strategy guide, there's like 210 or so, but since some of them are like part 2's of quests and stuff I lowered it to 150. Yeah, you can get the Ion extension after you beat the game once, just hold the attack button (probably X) during Radiant Howl. Yeah, Jade is awesome.
