Belt? I love that you have no straps but why belt? I'm only sitting at 415lbs for 2 without any equipment so I might not understand, but to me a belt is a crutch that inhibits development.
Franco Columbu did 750lbs in competition and reportedly 780lbs in some training sessions, 735lbs is pretty damn impressive, then again Franco was 90lbs lighter lol!
And from where did you get that? It's totally individual! Get lost with your rules. There is no exact rule for deadlift. No offense, I just don't like generalization.
whatever bulldogsrule your definetly a fagget anyway bull dogz rule hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha american spastic you americans are retarded you know that ya hahahaha
whatever you fuckin cu..nt i'd dance all over your face if i ever met you you see how bad ass i am then when your pickin up your fucin teeth with broken fingers you dirty cu.nt now fuc off annoyin me
You said I'd," "if," and that you like to "dance." So I gather from the comment that you are a bad ass because of what you WOULD do, IF you met someone, and that you have an interest in ballet.
He's not bouncing it off the floor. He is deloading it. That is the proper way to deadlift. The hardest part of the lift is lifting is from a "DEAD" stop. That's why it's called a deadlift.
I can't believe people is criticizing such an amazing performance.
OF COURSE he's bouncing off the floor. Deadlifts are supposed to be done like that if you want to train with very heavy weights without severely damaging your back.
Excellent form, when I do reps I go slower, but you at least pause at the bottom, which makes the reps count man unlike big ronnie coleman who bounces 800 for 2 reps to show off, nice job man ;)
sorry its a force of habit sometimes, disregard what I said about ronnie, lets just say I have more respect for people who pause the weight on the floor, rather then bouncing it, as well as bench press, I like it when they touch there chest and not bounce the weight off.
Bouncers i think are cheaters, but your right if it works for them then it shouldn't matter what I think, as long as it gets the job done for them ;)
Bouncing makes it even harder! The momentum you get between every rep without bouncing, will eventually allow you to do more reps. If Ronnie actually DEAD-lifted his 800lbs, he would have been able to to 3 maybe 4 reps in total, i'm sure.
When i use to bounce the weight with 405 I hit 5 reps it was easier for me, but when I rest the weight on the ground I can now only hit 405 for 3 reps, I think for everyone its different, I guess bouncing makes it harder for you though.
This is completely wrong. Bouncing off the floor makes it easier. Why do you think people can do more weight on the hang deadlift where they start from the top? And why does everyone think that Ronnie Coleman is the standard for strength? He can't carry a LOT of powerlifters jocks.
The lack of momentum caused by bouncing, will help you lift more weight. But the time under tension is more constant. As i said, it very much depends on whether your deadlift strength lies at the top or at the bottom.
It has nothing to do with that. Bouncing off of the floor will ALWAYS allow you to do more reps. If you are weak off the floor then that ROM is avoided, and if you are weak at lock at the momentum from the floor will carry over into more speed to the lockout. Again, it's why you can do more weight, EVERYONE CAN DO MORE WEIGHT on the hang deadlift where you start from the top.
I didn't mean Mark was bouncing these reps off of the floor. He's obviously not. I think my comment was about Ronnie coleman doing his 800x2 which for some reason has become the interwebs standard for great strength.
Nice work. Keep this up and you will have to buy more real plates for your gym so you can fit more weight on that bar than with those rubber coated 45s..

that wasn't a proper deadlift at the top of each deadlift you have to pull your shoulders back and stick your chest out hold for 2 seconds then drop
