I work with youth coming out and those who are suicidal because of the hate and rejection they suffer. Go to a good website like gayteens.org etc for suggestions. I have a quick question for you. I'm a girl who has come out to about 6 of my friends, and it was actually pretty easy for me after the first time i said it out loud. Do you think there's any way to know for SURE if you're bisexual/gay, or do you think it might just be different for everyone to figure out on their own?

Coming out of the closet is hard in general, but I guess when you know that you're totally gay (with no chance of ending up with the "one" you're "supposed" to end up with), it's easier to come out as bisexual at first because there's still some "hope" that you might not end up in a gay relationship? But if you're bisexual I'd imagine it's just as hard to come out as that.

@TheLeatch If you're 12, you don't need to be in a rush. If you feel you have the support network you need, it will be OK. But it may be more difficult in a Catholic school especially that young.

You are still quite young bud so just give your self sometime to try new things, cause as you mature you will continue to get to know yourself and most likely be better prepared to deal with the "less open minded" individuals out there.

@TheLeatch , Hi Leatch, Don't feel you have to come out. We do not choose our sexual orientation. God made us and He does not make mistakes or junk. You are as normal as any other youth. I work with youth coming out and those who are suicidal because of the hate and rejection they suffer. Go to a good website like gayteens.org etc for suggestions. Hope for the best but be prepared to handle the worse. There is freedom in being true to yourself but also the real risk of rejection-by family/church

Coming out of the closet is hard in general, but I guess when you know that you're totally gay (with no chance of ending up with the "one" you're "supposed" to end up with), it's easier to come out as bisexual at first because there's still some "hope" that you might not end up in a gay relationship? But if you're bisexual I'd imagine it's just as hard to come out as that.
