  • This was really interesting. Thanks for uploading.

  • I remember listening to Hanoi Hannah at night and her music was a lot better then AFVN's. They played the latest sounds from the U.S. I didn't care too much for the propaganda but the music was good.

  • Hanoi Hannah and Jane Fonda.....perfect match ...

  • @namdogtag They should be strung up and hung together

  • "Hanoi Hannah" speaks the truth

  • What was demoralizing the troops in vietnam wasn't what was happening on the battlefield, but what was happen in the states. With politicians not doing anything to win the war and anti-war protesters acting like a bunch of retards

  • The nva and vietcong tried many ways to demoralize american troops, none of them work. Their favorite was to capture a G.I dead or alive and either skinned them or cut off their cock and balls, then put the body where other G.Is would find it. This of course had a opposite effect because it only piss off the soliders that found that body and want to kill the gooks that did it even more. The Japs did that U.S soliders too in ww2

  • @warc8us Your grandfather is correct, that is why the army always serves hot meals even when its 30C outside - simply believe it or not, it does cool you down ;)

  • have you guys ever heard of Hanoi Hilton. look it up also you see the Mai Lai massacre of 300 villagers, and the viet cong massacre of 5000 or more civilians in Hue, also Ho Chi Mihn threatened farmers by gunpoint to divide and share their farm land to peasants even though the original farmers worked hard for it

  • What's that little tune at the end when he says "But you will learn the hard way"? Sounds nice. (:

  • Hamburgers with coffee, a perfect match for a true American.

  • I like this!!!

  • You know, all this stuff is just full of boys who don't want to be soldier-bad-ass, just uniformed Good for you!!! The moment of "Glory" is nothing to the life of hell you might exprrience. Learn about combat andfigure it out for yourself.

  • Holy Cats! What the hell are you guys arguing over??? Jeeze, Hanoi Hannah was a political/military scheme that was almost funny. As a Recon-scout section leader tasked with a mission, yet knowing the war was a crock, I made some decisions that maybe weren't by the book, but insured others came home to be the lovers, fathers and dreamers. I was never a pacificest until I was drafted and told every time my left foot touched the ground to cry "KILL'. A society is sick when kill is important.

  • What is this gibberish I hear attatched to Hanoi Hannah? Obviously not one of you were even alive vat the time and just enjoy running your mouth's off. Well, I was there, listened to the North Vietnamese broadcasts, and had a good laugh. Even heard I was wiped out once! You babies, who's wildest experience is a video gane, like to run your foul mouths, demonstrate your ignorance and add nothing to any simple diatribe.

  • @clearacres I agree with you, I wasn't there, but people these days really do not pay attention to history these days.

  • @maskaryan Like those fucktards who rail against "rampant American atrocities" in Vietnam while the NVA murdered our wounded and slaughtered the population of Hue.

  • Trịnh Thị Ngọ [Hanoi Hannah] -- Heroine of the Vietnam War!

  • @emmthreejonny if i was you i would delete the comments cause there's some stupid communists who have no respect for American soldiers commenting on this video

  • This was ineffective, soldiers would usually make fun of it and there has been no confirmed cases of ppl going AWOL because of radio propaganda

  • Can any soldiers that were on the recieving end of these broadcasts comment on the effectiveness? Im interested in the effects of negative propaganda during wartime, on opposing soldiers.

Did you laugh at the patheticly obvious pop culture referances like "Hamburgers and coffee...." and "Your not at Fort Riley anymore...."

From my perspective they seem laughable, but apperently there was incidents of isolated units losing trust in the American broadcasts, due broadcasts being censored.

  • Yum,yum. There's nothing like a meal of hamburgers and coffee.

  • @SlipstreamWarbird hahahhaha

  • @SlipstreamWarbird id rather have a beer with my hamburger!

  • Almost as watching Discovery Channel!

  • @billbixbi Being an atheist myself, I have no problem lumping you-tube atheists into a sanctimonious but ignorant snobs. Like the strawman version of religion that you all so fervently attack, you demean and criticize the "nonbelievers", acting as if they have sub-human intelligence for being so "stupid" as to follow the religion that is the primary motivation behind charitable giving in the country.

Quite honestly, I wish there were a term for an Atheist that's not an arrogant fucknut.

  • @gregvs3 Indeed. I unfortuantly find myself being what you describe.

    *Sigh*

  • @gregvs3 They're not sub-human, but they are stupid.

Of course they're stupid, they've attributed the entire workings of the world to magic instead of Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology etc.

Charitable giving shouldn't be because you fear the religious consequences for not doing so, it should be out of moral duty and civic responsibility.

Hell, the United Kingdom is one of the biggest givers to charitable causes and yet the majority of the British population are Atheists.

  • @RedcoatMic24 - Around 30-40% are atheist in Britain, quite a lot but not the majority. The majority goes to Sweden, which is having a huge Islamification dilemma.

  • @emmthreejonny I'd say the polls are highly unreliable, okay maybe not "atheist" but I'd say with much conviction that the majority of people aren't Christians.

We don't seem to give a lot of concern to religion and it's treated with a lot of indifference.

  • @RedcoatMic24 - Of course, UK is not a theocracy. Religion is a personal concern not the state's, and thank God it works that way.

  • @emmthreejonny It is not Swedens fault that these religious loons have came into their country...Sweden hates the muslims and they also hate the christians but more the islamic terrorist.

  • @gerudgutierrez Gör vi?

  • @ComradeDragon LOL what? Im american so I think your speaking swedish and I dont speak it haha.

  • @gerudgutierrez So you're American and you're speaking for the Swedes? ;)

Most in Sweden do not hate religious people. It is true that religion has gotten a lot less power of the people than it used to have.

But we do not hate religion, nor religious people. It is the ones who take their religion to the extremes that we don't take too kindly too ;)

  • @ComradeDragon I havent said all of them but it depends who you talk too...it seems they dont like there religious garbage so they dont want it...it happens to be the most atheist country and its school system is the best...I have some swedish friends too haha.

  • @gregvs3 A similar disillusion for militant Athiest asshats drove me to slightly alter my views and adopt agnosticism.

  • @gregvs3 Agnostics are generally the non-arrogant version of atheists, as while they don't believe in god, neither do they outright disbelieve in a god, either. Most agnostics consider it statistically unlikely, but not impossible; this is why being agnostic toward god is "soft" atheism, whereas the arrogant attitude of "I know there's no god with total surety" belongs only to the dogmatic and rather unscientific "hard" atheists.

A big reason atheists are worse these days is Sam Harris & co.

  • @gregvs3 well said
