@wcsstars10 no, a fist to the head will most likely do nothing. many times a pit dog owner will use a device called a breaking stick to seperate the dogs. its a 48" piece of tapered hickory with a hard rubber coating on one end. it is inserted in the locked dogs mouth at the 2nd premolar (3rd tooth behind the rear incisor) and used to pry the mouth open and break the lock. i suppose owning one you already know about breaking sticks.

Man my retriever was just a puppy when it was killed by a pitbull. Ever since then I've hated them. Specially when u hear on the news how they almost killed a little girl and what not. My girlfriends dad has 2 pitbulls trained and everything and they are very friendly but one thing I have realized is that no matter how good you raise or train them they will ALWAYS be aggressive towards other dogs unless properly introduced. I have owned 3 pitbulls in my life and never have they attacked people or small animals. When choosing a pitbull you have to check 1 were they breed from a vicious blood line and how you raise them. My dogs would never hurt anything. They are big babies, but any dog can be an attack dog its how you raise them.
