Join my Guild its (TKB) The KnockAround boys look my guys in either somewhere in factions or lions arch characters names to look out for are arrow raider, master scar, wiggitywow malaster and i dont remeber the other peps in my guild so look for us. oh my warrior is better you should use the elite skill defy pain it helps out alot.
It's pretty old and Its a one time pay. You could probably get it for a fiver these days bro. I do suggest you check out GW2 though, now that game is a WoW killer ;)
@Sadik0gungor91 I don't play warriors much(Never.) But I can give you basic information. Learn what different Hexes do. I'm not Kidding! Learn them! If you don't they will rape you so hard you will feel it while you sleep! PvP is very cut throat, if your going to be a warrior there make sure to bring either knock downs or quick interruption skills. Don't over extend your monk. And as a warrior it would be a good idea to bring a bow in PvE, because you might do a bit of pulling cus of your armor.

GW animations and spell effects are garbage compared to WoW's.
GW gameplay is an utter snorefest compared to WoW's.

There are dungeons in Guild Wars 1. And they where popular in that game so I would have to say yes. yes there is going to be dungeons. Now as for "raids". I'm not too sure. but I would most likely have to say no. How ever this is an event system where You could be in town talking to a merchant and suddenly the horns go off and you have to protect the city from being destroyed by Zombies or Centaur.

after playing the demo of guild wars for each class... i found GW to be a cheap version of wow, theres a good chance that it gets better for higher levels, this vid seems more interesting than the demo gameplay, but i cant see myself grinding for that long and being bored out of my mind after 2 hours, just to get to decent gameplay
@halomaster0007 if you think guild wars has mindless grinding than you have never played WoW. Guild wars leveling is not even close to as tedious as world of warcraft, which I HAVE played for many hours. And, IMHO Guildwars endgame is very complicated, but in a very different way than WoW.
@TheHollowRod well i have played wow long enough to have 3 80s, 2 Ulduar 25man raid geared(each with sets for offspec and off-offspec), 1 heavily pvp geared, and 8 or so various alts ranging from 50-70 different classes / pvp / raid etc, been roughly 6 months since i played, the new content was just to simplistic for me...

@halomaster0007 In theory ;) On guild wars they have attributes points. You can create builds from your primary class and another class. That offers variation were as on wow your - your class is your class and everyone specs the same for pvp or pve. I understand what you mean but Guild wars is alot more complicated than wow is.
@Lisledl WoW has skill points which are placed normally in one Primary 'tree' with a secondary tree containing the remainder, but one can spend those skill points however one likes, ie all in 1 tree, a bit in every tree, etc. The odds of two people choosing the same exact variation is very unlikely.
It is very true that if two people were to make the same build that they would choose the exact same stats... however, when one starts a new character on wow... they will either ask for help or just copy another persons build because they do not yet know what they are looking for... thus, builds are often very similar.

If that person has a main and is an avid raider they will probably look around for a build only because they want the thoroughly tested 'best' build, but good players will tweak that build to their play style and make it work better than the 'best'.
@halomaster0007 On guild wars you have to gather materials for armor etc rather than down bosses. Armor can be used at any level and max level is easy to achieve, this means all aspects of the game are accessible by everyone unlike on wow were all the 'fun' stuff is at 80

if a lvl 30 in boa items(probably enchanted with those expensive pre tbc enchants)
went against a lvl 40 in quest gear, the lvl 30 would still have a good chance of winning, even without pvp experience(i dont like to use the word skill because its a game, not a sport or a job)
Ok so im thinking of buying this game with all the expansions But i was wondering how the whole MMORPG things works are there real players in the "world" as you are playing the game or do you have to have a group to actually communicate with real players etc. I used to play Endless online a long time ago is it like that?
there are cities. In these cities, you go communicate with players and make groups etc. but in the danger zones, you're alone if you're not with a friend in a group

Sorry but you're wrong. So you're saying if a level 80 ungeared tried to match my 80 geared rogue in pvp he could "out-skill" me? Or if a lvl 30 went against a lvl 40, the lvl 30 could rely on skill? I think not. Wow is about having better gear and spamming your attacks in both pvp and pve. A lvl 1 can beat a lvl 20 in guildwars if he understands the character builds. I'm not bashing wow- I love wow and have 3 lvl 80s, but all it's about is grinding for better gear.

Because foes that use the same skills you do but do more damage, know when to get out of aoe, target healers and mages first long before they ever consider melee, can fuck up your entire build with one skill, can revive there alies, duplicate them selves, heal each other, prevent you from reviving your alies, have unlimited energy, and can destroy your energy in 1 or 2 skills is easy.
But Creatures in WoW who can't do most that are hard.....

@ColoradoBansuri Highly unlikely that a lvl1 character could even live enough to spit on a lvl 20 character :) A level difference of about 5 levels is acceptable to say that a lower level could beat lvl20 but the main problem with lvl20 is that it actually can be a character that has advanced far in the game meaning that it can have all sort of armor and rune upgrades that would literally obliterate characters that are not lvl20, not to mention the puny lvl1 :D
@ColoradoBansuri Nah.. GW is nothing about skill... I HATE WoW but ill admit the pvp is more skill based than a lot of games... when my mage was 70 i would kite geared 80's to death all the time.
@ColoradoBansuri dude the only way a GuildWar lvl 1 player could kill a lvl 20 is if the lvl 20 was asleep. It would only take a couple hits from the lvl 20 player, a simple combo to kill the lvl one character
People often get into an argument comparing GW to WoW. They are about as different as night and day. You can't compare them. WoW is about spending many many hours getting gear that makes you strong. GW is about constantly equipping skills for any given setting. WoW is all about gear, GW is all about skills. Both great games, but nothing alike. Comparing GW to WoW is like comparing COD4 to Team fortress 2.
you can get the trilogy for 30 bucks (at least the CD key and then download the games for free.) so that's 10 bucks for each game. no monthly fees. yeah it's worth it.

@halomaster0007 On guild wars you have to gather materials for armor etc rather than down bosses. Armor can be used at any level and max level is easy to achieve, this means all aspects of the game are accessible by everyone unlike on wow were all the 'fun' stuff is at 80

if a lvl 30 in boa items(probably enchanted with those expensive pre tbc enchants)
went against a lvl 40 in quest gear, the lvl 30 would still have a good chance of winning, even without pvp experience(i dont like to use the word skill because its a game, not a sport or a job)

there are cities. In these cities, you go communicate with players and make groups etc. but in the danger zones, you're alone if you're not with a friend in a group

Sorry but you're wrong. So you're saying if a level 80 ungeared tried to match my 80 geared rogue in pvp he could "out-skill" me? Or if a lvl 30 went against a lvl 40, the lvl 30 could rely on skill? I think not. Wow is about having better gear and spamming your attacks in both pvp and pve. A lvl 1 can beat a lvl 20 in guildwars if he understands the character builds. I'm not bashing wow- I love wow and have 3 lvl 80s, but all it's about is grinding for better gear.

Because foes that use the same skills you do but do more damage, know when to get out of aoe, target healers and mages first long before they ever consider melee, can fuck up your entire build with one skill, can revive there alies, duplicate them selves, heal each other, prevent you from reviving your alies, have unlimited energy, and can destroy your energy in 1 or 2 skills is easy.
But Creatures in WoW who can't do most that are hard.....

too bad in GW the enemies often fuck you in the ass by turning your 8 skills into 0 skills...
In wow if you have some one who never played it and give them a lvl 80 character with all the best skills, armor and weapons they will play just as well as some one who has been playing for years....
but in GW2 they will have problems and will quit the game and cry to there mommys and play wow

@ColoradoBansuri Highly unlikely that a lvl1 character could even live enough to spit on a lvl 20 character :) A level difference of about 5 levels is acceptable to say that a lower level could beat lvl20 but the main problem with lvl20 is that it actually can be a character that has advanced far in the game meaning that it can have all sort of armor and rune upgrades that would literally obliterate characters that are not lvl20, not to mention the puny lvl1 :D

@ColoradoBansuri dude the only way a GuildWar lvl 1 player could kill a lvl 20 is if the lvl 20 was asleep. It would only take a couple hits from the lvl 20 player, a simple combo to kill the lvl one character

People often get into an argument comparing GW to WoW. They are about as different as night and day. You can't compare them. WoW is about spending many many hours getting gear that makes you strong. GW is about constantly equipping skills for any given setting. WoW is all about gear, GW is all about skills. Both great games, but nothing alike. Comparing GW to WoW is like comparing COD4 to Team fortress 2.

In the past you merely had to buy the game and/or its stand-alone expansions "Factions" or "Nightfall."
However, now they sell the trilogy as a single title, which includes those three in one purchase.
Once purchased there are no monthly fees and its free to play online.

you can get the trilogy for 30 bucks (at least the CD key and then download the games for free.) so that's 10 bucks for each game. no monthly fees. yeah it's worth it.

hey nice Prestige Luxon Armor lol...I only have the LuxoN Armor...Im gonna buy Eye of the North so i can get the Silver Eagle Armor because its only 50k...Armor In Factions cost alot because of the amber chunks and jadeite shards...plus prophecies prestige armor cost the most out of like all the expansions...
