What type of fly rod and reel combo are you using. Is this your combo that you use for all of ML, (trout, reds, drum)?

That combo was a 8wt loomis glx w/ a Ross rythym 3.5 reel, that is my goto setup on the goon. If I'm fishing for 25+lb fish I go to a 9wt Loomis and a Ross Momentum #4
