Republicans are a bunch of ignorant malcontents, who can be worked into a frenzy about anything. They simply can't live with the reality that they lost the election so badly. Their desperation has lead them to look increasingly insane. Their divorce from reality and retreat into the political netherland of subjective hate and fear, runs counter to the direction of the conciousness of our country. These Palinesque optics will lead them to a major defeat in 2010 and 2012. Life is beautiful.
Memos that proved that I didn't work. Wateboarding is torture. It's over. Closing Gitmo was smart since Bush administration didn't know what to do with these detainees obviously. Now, we can move these trials.
Obama's chief foreign policy officer says waterboarding was key in preventing a plot to blow up the Library Tower in LA.
The memos were heavily blacked out, you didn't even read them, bc most of it is still classified. Obama refuses to release the rest, bc it details cases when waterboarding did work.
Memos proved that it didn't work. Water-boarding 100 times? He said the memo doesn't prove if they could have gotten this info without waterboarding. Recently, there was a gitmo detainee who was waterboarded and spent 7 years in Gitmo. Finally, he came clean, and was convicted. This proves Bush administration failed. Obama is doing the right thing. Torture doesn't work. Let's turn the page
"Obama's chief foreign policy officer says waterboarding was key in preventing a plot to blow up the Library Tower in LA."
Waterboarding was used AFTER that plot was foiled you numbnuts. Look this idea that you can create your own reality may have earned the GOP much dividends in the past but it doesn't work anymore.
Do you think GSEs are a sign of unregulated capitalism? How about subsidized health and education? How about the Community Reinvestment Act? How about Social Security? How about one unaudited agency, the Federal Reserve, dictating the money supply?
This sounds like free markets to you?
The GOP doesn't oppose regulation. Democrats opposed regulating the Fed and Fannie and Freddie, and forced banks into quotas for subprime loans under threat of reducing their FICO score.
Democratic solutions: bankrupt the economy, surrender to our enemies, destroy the traditional family, ignore the Constitution, expand Washington's power over America.
Although I agree that Joe's obviously had a breakthrough, he's still missing the one point that the GOP is also ignoring. You have to listen to what the people are saying and adapt your message to appeal to those you wish to attract.
If you regurgitate the same ideas and principles that the people have rejected, who are you reaching? Only those whom already agree with you and that's not progress.
Dude, you need to be more tolerant and stop saying somebody is a "dunderhead" when you mean you disagree with that person.
You are hurting people's feelings. Not just people with unique mental abilities, but also their families, friends, and really all human and animalkind.

Even more Democratic solutions: Fly planes near buildings over lower Manhattan.
Release only partial memos and redact what disproves your case against the last administration.
Stand against torture, but use drones to bomb villages and families.
Close Guantanamo without knowing were to put the detainees.
Take over corporations and run a constant campaign against capitalism.

Why won't Obama release all of the memos? Why is so much of it blacked out?

Yeah, bc terrorists had only one plot after 9/11. When we uncovered the Library Tower plan, they gave up.

Republican solution. Break treaties

More Democratic solutions: Put a tax cheat in charge of Treasury, a First Lady in charge of the State Dept., a fool for VP.
