I'm facing the same problem...I bought my Galaxy S about 10 days ago, and yestarday started to change the colors of the screen automatically, without i touch or without a program.
It came with Android 2.2 Froyo from the store, and i've updated for Gingerbread 2.3.3 via ODIN 3 days after it.
try to reflash it with a clean rom. (3 files + pit + repartition) and use semaphore kernel, the best for my. ^^
