She is amazing. Perfect performance. I was working on Vivaldi's concerto in G Major for mando and .... Evan Marshall (no relation to Mike Marshall) told me that AV wrote this for those instruments. Much easier to play on the g b e' a' d g strings than the g d a e strings of a modern mandolin. However, I have no doubt Caterina could play this just as well on the modern mando - she could probably play this on a cat's whiskers. =)
