  • really, this thing is awesome but i can't imagine the "tube synth" be anything more than a rarely used gimmick : /

  • my god it sound,s gurngy as fu## lol

  • hehe i hope someone might use both this and a drum machine from metasonix together to create something musical :P someday hopefully

  • worst design ever.... that plastic thing over the knobs ? wtf?! also as he says ,having the knobs right next to the ho tubes???.... unreadable blue text..... what the shit..... 1 1/2 octave range ?!??!! the sound?? its...... SHIT !!!!! comeon!!! this is for spoiled, mind fucked people only.... u can do the same with a simple selfmade 2$ device, ever better.... 2500$??????!?!?!?!?!? that money can be spend more wisely in a million ways

  • at 1:50 it sounds halfway between a p-51 mustang and a very angry cat.

  • Beer screen. Cewl

  • What a cool machine. What are you using for your midi to cv converter? I have a Pro One and a DS 2 that the key boards are shot and I would like to trigger from a motif 6 or dx7. What do you recommend?

  • This was a prototype unit, and the only one with MIDI. It is now safely back in the burned hands of its creator.

  • What happens if you plug a microphone into it? I want to hear what this does to someone's voice.

  • You are amazing. The people who made this are extra fucking amazing. Ahahahaha this is great, all their shit is so perfect, I wish I could be doing that.

  • If Satan has a vacuum cleaner, I'm sure it sounds pretty like that. F*ck yeah.

  • Excuse me.Please somebody help me: what's the name of that multi-keyboard stand?I can't find those stands;no shop seems to have them in Italy.Or they use them to expose keyboards, and would not sell them. Why are so simple things so difficult to find?(perhaps it's unrealistic to want such solution. But i still believe I am not supposed to keep keyboards on the floor and walk on them). Please, what company makes them?Knowing the name of the factory might be the only way to get some. Thanks a lot.

  • That's an old Ultimate Support A-frame stand. If you can get stuff on eBay they're found there all the time.

  • AWSOME MACHINE

  • "Jeep stuck in the mud" HA HA HA HA!!! ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING MY ASS OFF!!

  • Sounds exactly like Seth Rogen

...the guy, not the synth. The synth sounds incredible

  • £1,700, managed to bring it down to £1,500

  • I am ordering one of these tommorow, I have an old teisco p100s that will sound beutifull through the wretch.

  • How much is it for one?

  • Eric is one crazy guy!

  • My favorite synth demo vids are the ones where people demo the sounds of the instrument AT THE VERY START OF THE VIDEO by actually making some music with the device - - THEN AFTER THAT, if it's absolutely essential that they talk, they talk. Just my personal preference. It's not easy to make a youtube vid, no matter how simple. Thank you for posting this.

  • Agreed; I'd much rather hear it than listen to someone talk about it endlessly. This was my first YouTube ever & a bit too talky. Especially since I don't really know what I'm talking about in the first place. ;o)

  • Can...uh. Can you use this thing to process external signals...and NOT make it sound like a Jeep stuck in the mud? Like, can it be used to warm up a certain instrument? Or does it just sound crazy all the time?

  • this thing scares me

  • lol me too

  • It's a cool piece of machinery, but god does that sound awful.

I'm sure if you played with it you might get something that sounds okay, but it just sounds disharmonic.

  • Its range goes from awful to awfuller, trust me. But sometimes you need something awful & truly BROWN, and I defy anyone to find another piece of gear that so readily shits in your ear quite the same way.

  • I was trying to be a little more polite than that in case it was just the setup or audio quality on the video... but I think you summed it up pretty well.

  • oh my good.that sound like a cat in a bag.

  • wow

  • That thing is one bad ass Modular. That must sit pretty in a pretty complex mix.

  • ha ha. "modulation buses scare the hell outta me..." nice

  • Man I just love the way it growls and hisses at you around 31 seconds in. huuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaa

Almost like the sound I imagine an insect making when I turn over a rock and jump back a thousand feet

  • Will it play The Star Spangled Banner or is that too technically demanding?

  • "So if you accidentally you know, brush up against it with your finger, you're going to be really sad." That seriously made me laugh. HAHA

  • I'm glad not every company in the world feels the need to make another virtual analog. This is very cool. We need more interesting instruments to expand our sonic palette.

  • Haha, I love it. It sounds like a cross between a cat and a car engine. What a speaker destroyer that thing must be!

  • I think something's Alive in there!

Let it out! That is too Cool!

$2500 Is a little out of my range.

  • It sounds like you're revving up some sort of car dog... and it's fucking awesome.

  • I like the original panel layout so much more than the current panel layout.

    Cool synth. Cool company.

  • lol, love the sneeze/beer screen

  • man i've seen this video at least 20 of those 700 views :D

  • thank you for posting this
