Some of these cameras have alot of issues.
My transfer wont start and I had a lens error by accidentall droping it 5 inches. from a table.

I have the S700 as back up for my P5000.
Both are point and shoot back ups that go in my DSLR camera bags.
Great little camera. The S, or Style Series, is pretty darn good.
No matter your taste, go to your camera store and try it out. Bring a memory card, take the photos home and judge for yourself.
Never take someone's word for it. Make up your own mind.
