  • Bret is the realest dude

  • Most respected wrestlers I think by other wrestlers... Andre the Giant is #1

Brett Hart #2 Sting #3 Owen Hart #4 Mick Foley #5 Those are just my guesses. Undertaker, I've seen a lot of positive comments from wrestlers on him and Kurt Hennig seemed very well respected. Eddie Guererro seems fondly remembered by other wrestlers.

  • @Ken9284 It's all about hard earned respect. There are lotsof guys who've had issues with him, but they all still RESPECT him.

  • It's nice to see Landsberg not be a complete and total annoying fuck in an interview.

  • fucking inreviewer.. making fun of bret's stroke

  • bret = honest, earnest, has his heart in whatever he does...a real guy's guy

  • Undertaker is nearly 7 foot tall and built like a tank. Would you talk bad about him?

  • @Ituomela I hope you fucking die you piece of shit son of a bitch. Suck your father's dick and lick dirty asshole you faggot ass pussy

  • Comment removed

  • @ltuomela Bret has made more money then your whole family will in the next 300 years hahaha xD

  • @Akuroth1 yep you can guess all you want homes..lol...look in the mirror...and im still right..lmao

  • @ltuomela obviously you've never been paralized =)

  • The Interviewer Should Really Show Some Class, He Should Talk Less, And Let Bret Talk More, GOD BLESS YOU BRET!!!!

  • @shimmerknockout He's like that with everyone but you're right, he should shut his trap.

  • being able to wink is so important, ha ha ha! - that interviewer is a fucking douche!

  • afraid to call me-er. hahaha! silly...

  • Why would Landsberb use that line (the one that he says before they go to commercial) when the interview isn't even close to being done.

If it was at the end of the interview it would have been good.

  • did bret make peace with of his sybalings yet??

  • Bret Hart is the people wrestler. He is indeed what he says he is: The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Plain and simple: There will NEVER be another Bret Hart. God bless you, Bret.

  • if Bret dies ill die and if he gets hurt i get hurt :P I LOVE BRET!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

  • this interviewer is an arrogant prick who talks more than he LISTENS... he has no respect and i hope is a lot more respectful and kind to his Life Partner, CHET LMAO hahah

  • entrevista homo! lol

  • HAHA.... nice.

  • Why do you type like that? Strange boy.

  • i second that lol

  • I cannot wait for him to debut jan 4th WWE Monday Night Raw :D what a great way to start to the new year,

  • In many ways, Melina is the greatest wrestler in the world today.

  • ok she good, but what about the girl from japan

  • In the world? Not even in top 10. Greatest in WWE? Again, no.

  • Bret Hart is still the man

  • @dhoormann IS... WAS... AND ALWAYS WILL BE!

  • This host is a phony.

  • no he not

  • is he still married?

  • iwish bret would talk to his siters=(

  • Why doesn't he talk to his sisters?

  • he probably still talks to alison but not the 6th the 7th or 11th child especially the 6th and 11th child

  • did davie boy die before this interview? if so, maybe bret forgave her because of his death.

  • He died before this interview. The interview was in 2003 and davey died in 20002

  • well they would probably have to talk 4 a very long time and same with owen's wife i mean especially martha should be more not so bitter toward the family i mean what did owen's family do except try to be who they are

  • bret hart inspires me to try out for the wrestyling team

  • I have all the respect in the world 4 this man. bret hart is without a doubt the best human-being that has ever took part in world wrestling entertainment. a true professional, a real man! there will never be anuva bret hart, i thought the rock was gunna cum close, but that dint happen. wrestling is absolutly shite these days cumpared 2 how it used 2 be, infact if u compare todays wrestlers 2 this man it's a total utter joke and disgraceful! best there is best there was best there ever will be!

  • well there is the undertaker

he is the last fully respected wrestler

  • mark calloway you mean undertaker real name

  • @hardyboygirl

    hardy boyz suck

  • in the wwe at least

  • no of any wrestler still active today

  • i dont belive that at all then there are tons a great and respectable wrestlers in the world,muta,kobashi,quackenbush,danielson,low-ki,aj, tons

  • they may be all respected, but not at the magnitude and longevity of the undertaker

  • i disagree,i have met plenty of wrestlers(mainly japanese) and i think that they are real pro's who put the business first and have a real respect for it,undertaker is great in that way but i belive that many others are too

  • I wish I could watch Bret vs Keiji Mutoh!!

  • ok so let me get this straight brett no longer speaks to his sisters diana and ellie?n does he ttalks to owens wife?

  • Lol @ landsbergs fake laugh when bret hart talks about winking to nurses. we all know landsberg only winks to guys.

  • i recently read brets book, i started wtahcing wrestling at a young age and still watch bits of it now. i was a huge hulkamaniac, and i remeber a story line were bret screwed hogan (angle). and i didnt understand the babyface and heels, in wrestling. so i hated bret i always thought of him as a bad guy, but after reading is book, he is my fave wrestler of all time, and im sad that i never got to see him work. Bret you are the wrestling Legend.

  • so brett dont speak with jim anvil & his sis diana anymore?

  • if u read his book ull find out more

  • btw i hope u do read his book its a gr8 read

  • In all the interviews/shoots I've seen with wrestlers, nobody ever talks bad about the Undertaker. He must be a HELL of a guy.

  • Or they are scared to death of him? :)

No, seriously, I do think what you say about Taker, from all accounts you are 100% spot on.

  • don't speak ill of taker...HE WILL TAKE YOUR SOUL!

  • grow up

  • oh get a sense of humour, loser,

jeez why so serious? time of the month?

im sorry i forgot cause we all have to be grown up and serious when it comes to this stuff.

  • @Ken9284 RIGHT! Everyone ALWAYS speaks so highly of him -even Shawn Michaels during his prick days in the 90s and Ultimate Warrior who will diss any wrestler.

  • @Ken9284 That's true. He is the best after the Rock, Stone Cold and other guys.

  • @Ken9284 ask brock lesnar. See what hes got to say

  • @Ken9284 Undertaker and Harley Race are probably the most respected guys in wrestling

  • @TheMm858 Throw Terry Funk in there too

  • Steamboat as well have never heard anyone say bad thigns about him

  • Poor Owen Hart. If Owen hadn't have met his pre-mature death about 10 years ago, I can say with utmost confidence that he would be as big or bigger than Triple H is today in the wrestling industry.

  • i think in the wwf/wwe he was the greatest technical main eventer that i ever watched which would be the 80s and since i mean there were better wrestlers here and there but as for wwe maineventers he was the best in ring performer him and shawn michaels

  • yh i spose its all down to opinion, i wud say angle and benoit were better technical wrestlers

  • Benoit learned from teh Hart Family you moron! Angle is even with Bret Hart though I will say that! Have you ever watched Owen vs Bret Wrestlemania X? Bret vs. Mr. Perfect series? Geez man, most big wrestlers today no that Bret was the main guy when it came to technique. Benoit injured people, Angle injured people, Bret Hart didn't inflict one injury to anyone in his whole career! Fact, respect your opinion on whether you find him entertaining, but to claim he's not the best technically...wow!

  • yh sure benoit learned in the dungeon, but hav u never heard of 'the student surpassing the master' and plus angle is awesome wrestler, he won a gold medal with a broken 'freakin' neck, and he gets how to be a 'sports entertainer'

  • yah your right about that its all opinion , the reason i say bret over benoit and angle is that during brets time there was so much better technical matches during benoit and angles time it was after the boring attitude era and ever since then the matches are just not as good, short boring matches , i loved chris benoit in wcw though had such great matches then

  • the boring attitude era? u r jokin rite?

  • nope no joke attitude era is where fans that werent wrestling fans started watchin people thought kane , road dogg and billy gun were good wrestleers attitude era was all punch and kic until deborah or someone flashed them and distracted so they would win, no wrestling wcw had that time had good wrestling matches chris benoit , saturn , kanyon , finlay , guerrero , the cruiser weights , jericho who all later came to wwe and wiped out all the attitude losers except the real stars

  • well jericho and the radicals were all part of the attitude era, that ran from 1998-2002

  • it wasnt quite the attitude era during that time it was back to wrestling i guess because wwe finally had real workers and not just guys punching and kicking each other dont get me wrong i love wwe but you have to admit attitude era there wasnt much wresting going on just gay storylines that were pretty much like jerry springer

  • well most people say it started when austin won the title at wm 14 and ended either at survivor series 2001 or WM 18, im not a huge austin fan, i guess he's one of the ones that u say does punching and kicking, but some of the stuf he did and was involved with was pretty awesome

  • no actually i was huge austin fan back in the stunning steve austin days with his matches with ricky the dragon steamboat and even the ringmaster to the early days of stone cold steve austin with his bret hart rivalry i just didnt like the guys wwe had compared to wcw because if u can remember wwe started getting good wrestlers they went to the top and all the attitude losers faded out

  • well they started beating nitro in the ratings in mid 98 before they really got anyone from wcw, for me personally i luved the attitude era all of it, but personally 2000 was probly the best year and i spose ur rite coz by then they did hav jericho, the radicalz etc...

  • i know they were winning the ratings but it wasnt because of wrestling or even wrestling storylines it was attitude all the stuff outside the ring drinking beer , flashing tits , i mean dont get me wrong i watched it because it was wwf but the better wrestlers were in the wcw and i loved the nwo storyline alot better then anythign in the wwe

  • yh but they didn't push some really talented people and thats y they ended up going to the wwf, but then again they did push booker t which wwe rarely did, and plus Bischoff is an arrogant bellend

  • thats all true cant argue with any of that but one thing is i loved rey mysterio's , dean malenko , guerrero , benoit, booker t s , jerichos matches alot better when they were in wcw . i think because they wrestled with better wrestlers and more of they own size

  • I agree with you southsidedamu. The attitude era was overrated to an degree. Great entertainment, but less and less wrestling. WCW had some better matches at the time... I don't care how many people want to call themselves praising the "attitude era". In my opinion, it was overrated. Sure, it had it's moments, but it's no where near as great as people make it out to be, and I don't care who gives me an thumbs down (go ahead) this is my opinion, so deal with it.

  • well i'll always liv it coz its the era that got me into wrestling as i expect is the case with many people, it was as 'main stream' as wrestling ever got and i'd much rather have less wrestling but good entertainment than what they hav now which is little wrestling little entertainment

  • I agree with your opinion on the attitue era

  • Thank you.

  • The Attitude Era was not overrated, though I think WCW itself was overrated. WCW management had their heads so far up their own asses, they didn't fully realize the great champion-material superstars they had, like Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio.

It wasn't until those superstars went to WWF that they fully realized their World Champion potential. WCW was just NWO and Goldberg.

  • I disagree. I think the attitude era wasn't as good as people say it is. They only miss the storylines, the gimmicks, the television characters, and the entertainment, not the actual wrestling. I understand that professional wrestling is an blend of sports entertainment, and that's what interests an lot of people, but you need at least half and half to please different kind of fans.

  • Again, in the attitude era, it was mainly about entertainment, which distracted you from the wrestling aspect of it, because there wasn't an whole lot of it. The reason why wrestling hit an boom period around this time in the late 90's, is because people started to tune in more, because they were hooked on the entertainment, and storylines, not the wrestling. They didn't want to see mainly wrestling. They wanted to see an over the top, soap opera, full of twists and surprises.

  • So, some of these "Attitude Era" fans, I wouldn't really consider wrestling fans. They aren't really watching it for the wrestling. They are watching it for the sheer entertainment portion of wrestling, which devalues the wrestling portion of it. Anyway, moving on, I think you are missing the point about WCW. I never said they didn't make mistakes. They did.

  • However, I think around the "Attitude Era", the WCW were having better matches on Nitro, and Thunder, than the WWE were on Raw.

  • precisely, my era was 20 years before wrestlemania was even though of. The 14/15 year olds saying they miss the attitude era is just pathetic.

  • My favorite time was mid to late 80's. At one point on TV we had AWA, World Class, Mid South/UWF, NWA, WWF, and at one point we even got California Championship Wrestling. Now, WWE, TNA, that's IT!

  • yes, I loved the NWA Hammerlock in the UK too, as well as the old English wrestling. I do agree that most of the so called "attitude" fans, although they can watch wwf for any reason they want to, they do go a bit far claiming to be fans of the actual performances. They remember the stunts and the anywhere falls hardcore matches rather than the wrestling side.

I did enjoy the attitude era more for the entertainment side, but there were still some very good matches and great talent active too.

  • I agree with you about the attitude era. I liked it for enterainment, but it was better before the attitude era. I liked the late 80's and early to mid 90's.

  • Thank you.

  • So because we don't like the same era of wrestling as you then we're not real fans?

    I detect an elitist.

  • Elaborate.

  • You said that attidude era fans aren't "real wrestling fans" do I need to elaborate on how that was elitist?

I mean I hate the WWE nowadays, but those that like it are still wrestling fans in my eyes

  • @brethart1997fan

The reason, atleast I look at the "attitude era" being the best is because for the first time ever, you had entertaining storylines to go with the in-ring product. I also agree WCW was having better match than the WWF, but ECW was having the best, and not because of there hardcore style

  • Nobody even cuts an interview anymore. Just "Gimme a title shot?" Why? It's too predictable nowadays.

  • I definitely hear you man. If people wanted to see real wrestling, I highly suggest checking out Ring of Honor or a local promotion in your town.

In the Attitude Era, people also forget about the Monday Night War. They had options and it was really hard picking "Damn do I wanna watch Nitro, or Raw?" WWF and WCW were forced to put forth better story lines because of the competition. As far as in ring talent, WCW was destroying WWF, but Vince was resilient with the two stars he came out with

  • thanks man finally someone agrees with me and i wish i could but i dont live in the states i live in the u.k and wwe is basicly all ive got, the only reason i even consider watching it now is to see the undertaker. when he leaves wrestling will never be the same for me.

  • It was not overated, the matches were still great, when it's not real anyway what's the point in saciricing the fun factor to make it look more real?

  • this dude does a good interview.

  • he always does i think

  • bret hart was the greatest wrestler of all time! he has integrity and honor and left that currupt business with his head up and concience clear!

  • no way did he

  • Whos Walter Gretzky??? Im guessing he's Waynes dad???

  • Love Bret and hate that he seems so sad.

  • love him to, together with karelin... he is my favorite wrestler of all time

  • I hate seeing Bret so defeated

  • What I dont understand, is why certain wrerstlers think they absolutley cannot "lay down" for another? Especially in this day and age. Hogan, against his personal wishes, layed down for the Ultimate loser in 1990. I really dont think anyone , except Vince, is REALLY going to know what happend at the survivor series in 97

  • one word my dear EGO bret was great and he knew it he was in his home country and he didint wanna leave wwe behind knowing he lost his last match flair on the other had wanted to lose so he picked michaels to do it for him ironically WOA that just hit me michaels retires ppl lol

  • theres a few wrestling smarks here aint there!!!!!

  • as long as there a wrestling videos on youtube there will ALWAYS be marks posting

  • Very true.

  • how old is landsberg?

  • The Montreal Screwjob was not a work it was as real as real can get.

  • u bet ur ass, chyna on a shoot was a part of dx, she feels ashamed that she knew the shit with triple h and shawn michaels, gerald brisco and pat patterson said its tough for shawn to do the job, yeah right it was an f-u to bret and big-show is a dickryder for saying tough shit to bret, vince is a risktaker, he made a lot of that controversy, its sad how bret got treated and continuing a payperview when owen died. money hungry asshole vince to be precise no respect for humanity.

  • The Montreal Screwjob wasn't a work, it was real. Haven't you seen Wrestling with Shadows?

  • bret hart is one of the classiest people in this business always my favorite i luv him.

  • I have seen Wrestling With Shadows (I also interviewed Bret for Quinte Broadcasting last year.) But, with all the care that Vince takes in television production, the shot of Vince looking goofy wiping off Bret's spit wouldn't exist if Vince didn't want it to. I think it was all created to send Bret off as a martyr and create the Mr. McMahon character.

  • Shut your filthy mouth.

  • Bret, whether you liked him or hated him, always loved the business. Vince actually screwed both Shawn and Bret at the end of the day. Vince made sure that there was alot of controversy, which in turn, sells tickets and gets ratings. Shawn admitted his part and I think Bret should at the very least sit down and talk with shawn

  • I agree....sort of

  • You think they never discussed it? I figure it must have come up when Vince sat down and said "This is what it's gonna be."

  • Well I saw the piece when Bret and Vince came up with the idea about the DQ finish and it was assumed that, that was the finish. I have no idea why the finish was changed. Some people say it was a "work" on how Bret reacted, like he didnt know that there was gonna be a screwjob. I dont think thats the case personally, and again I think Bret , shawn and Vince need to meet

  • Oh, I totally think it was a work, Bret totally knew... than again, I think everything is a work... I still think Jarrett laying down for Hogan was a work that Hogan was in on.

  • jarrett laying down for hogan was a work....not the montreal screw job tho

  • no way his sister diana he said she dont exist in his mind na that is harsh to say bout a family member especially his own sister

  • man you dont even know why he said that!!! it isn't harsh when their brother just died tragically in the middle of the ring and all she can think about is getting her damn husband a job with the wwe!!!

  • Yo...greatwhitenorth13.......give Bret a break.......what makes him such BAD a guy......."The Best there i ...The Best there was...the Best there ever will be.......Fuckin rules man!.....u can suck a stinker outta my "ASS" Biaaaatch!!!!!!!

  • You hardly know the man your are the biggest asshole in the world

  • The interviewer is a smarmy little rat!

  • Damn, this is messed up about his two sisters if that is true. Bret may sound bitter, but he will always be my favorite wrestler of all time. I'm glad that Cena wears that spinner belt because he should never touch the same belt that Hart had. Loser

  • I think the spinner title is actually as disrespectful as you believe John's reign to be.

  • Great comment.

  • oh please

  • You're right about Bret being bitter and twisted, he needs to listen to his own advice a bit more.

But nobody who watched Bret 87-2000 could not remember what a talent and pure pro wrestler he was. Legend, simple. Compared to the shit today like Cena, Orton etc, well there is no comparison.

  • Orton's a good wrestler man. They just need to turn him into an anti-hero like Austin. The blueprints are there with what he did to Vince. But Cena blows you're right about that.

  • Well I don't watch it as much as I used to so i'll take your word for it about Orton.

It just seems that all the people who claim that WWE is as good as WWF are too young to ever have watched WWF in the first place.

  • what is wrong with Orton? He may not be the most technical guy but he's not neraly as bad as John Cena

  • I just find his character very dull like most of the wrestlers now. There don't seem to be any personalilties left. I'm not saying they should bring back Doink the clown type gimmicks but i miss the fun that there used to be in wrestling.

Yeah he's way better than Cena man, i'm not saying he isn't.

  • Wrestlers didn't call bret because they didn't like him. He is still living in the past and needs to get over the Montreal Screw-job. He needs to learn to forgive people. He's going to die a bitter old man and people won't recognize what a great talent he was.

  • We love you Hitman!!!

  • ..so he's saying that he pulled down the mirror in his car and started wanking off? - well, it's a free country, Bret

  • I know omg how old are you, you dumwhitted boy. I know what he said

  • Alright... you're off the hook! Sorry for getting raw on your ass, I wasn't sure if you were being serious.

  • bret was great only second to stone cold.

  • I am a big fan of him and I really think that even I almost hate shawn. But It's true. It's necesary for him than forgot the screwjob and hbk. Even He has forgiven vince for all this, but not shawn

  • which is bull because shawn didnt have a choice, if he didnt do it it would have been the HBK screwjob instead of the montreal screwjob.

  • amen well said

  • that's because Shawn was/is a pompous ass

  • You didn't hear from many wrestlers Bret because you're a selfish wank.

  • how the fuck would you know you think he's selfish because the wwe tells you he is your a fucking jackass

  • I base my opinion on the 'Hitman Hart' film. He came across as a deluded, self-important arse who thinks he's bigger than the game.

    Dinamyte Kid rules!
