today, i ran fontana, i have stock steering damper with my S1, i was the in the race mode, and every straightaway, i pinned the the throttle, it will tank slapped (the entrance of straightaway before turn one is the worst of them all), did you every got any answer from dealer or self improvement eqipment you can add? if you could shed any lights, i'm would be much appreicate it...

I sent my GPR stabilizer back to the dealer in hopes of getting it fixed after figuring out the valves were bad but never heard anything back. I bought and installed an Ohlins and have not had this issue anymore!

Glad you're okay, man. That was rugged!

The pavement was flat but rippled and unfortunately is what caused a severe tank slapping. The main problem being that my steering damper failed, (GPR).

ouch what made you wobble and are you on a s1000RR? I'm guessing you hit the bump and your front just lost it?
