Alma died (in The Street) of cancer a good few years ago now. Funny about you moving to The States, I moved to Canada three years ago and I find we are about 6to 8 months behind the Brits now, my family keep me informed on all the new developments.

I was lucky enough to catch back episodes when WTN (now just "W") used to broadcast them - from 2:30-3 before the newer eposides came on the CBC at 3. In any case, I am having a miserable time getting into the show nowadays; in fact, I don't watch any longer. Seems to me the best writing and acting was in the 90s. If you're aware of any older episodes being broadcast, please respond :)
