Many thanks Ralph. I've been on the verge of getting down to learning HTML and CSS for years. Your clear and straight forward tutorials really did the trick for me.
Please can you tell me if there's a tutorial which shows how to get the text in the 'leftcolumn' to wrap around the top and left of the 'purplebox', instead of padding out the text from the entire right side of the 'left column'?
thanks a lot for the videos, it would be great if you set up playlists of your videos segregating videos by what area of web development they are targetting, eg- UI, DB, server-side JS etc
Don't usually comment on YouTube videos, but I just had to thank you for what is an excellent video. This was the video that made css 'click' in my head. Thanks again.
I've spent a few hours trying to figure out what's going wrong with my usage of relative & absolute in CSS positioning. You've just solved my problem.
thanks so much for this rrphillips! This really helped me sort out the issues i had with my page. i was trying to position things inside a table but the table itself wasn't positioned relatively! So now everything is absolutely positioned inside my relatively positioned table! VOILA! it works! thankyou!!!!
hey man this really help me alot on my div but i need help moving my comment box were i want to have it and i dont quite really understand how to add positiong to stuff so please help me message or comment back

Why don't you use em instead of px, so that handicapped users can do full-page zooming without having an issue?

I quite like you tutorials on CSS -nice and strait forward :)
The only thing what kind of confused me is the fact that u put a "relative" to the leftcolumn and keep the "absolute" in the purplebox.
I would rather think (the point of my logic ?:)) to put an "relative" to the purplebox??
..nifty CSS logic (..which i have to get used to :))??
