Amazing how polite the pedestrians and drivers are. The cars are driving as though the paint weren't even there. If this was done in NYC or Philly there would be lots of crashing cars, cyclist and peds and plenty of cursing going around!

It would be nice to get this "artist's" address, car's license plate, etc, so that the average person who isn't so "expressive" as to damage public property can use his property as a canvas. That was dangerously irresponsible. The lane and route markings on the junction become invisible, stopping distances increased and drivers distracted by the lines and worried about what this mystery substance will do to their cars... even the cyclists appeared to be risking their lives to get out of the way! I realise it's water based paint, but the drivers don't know that at the time. I wouldn't want to drive my nice shiny car through it.

It's pretty inconsiderate of the drivers who given the choice even if knowing it washes off easily enough whom the majority of them would opt out of having their cars used as brushes. I know I would be pretty perturbed if this happened to me, that paint would splash up on the vehicle, (ever change lanes when the road paint is still drying) it may come off easy but it's still an annoyance.
