she's struggling. the piece is too big for her little hands. how sad. but she does a great job under the circumstances though. her parents should be ashamed making her play something too big for little hands. composers did not write these pieces for children to play. they did write children's pieces, but this is obviously not one of them.

It is an easy piece masked by repeated harmonic and enharmonic chords and arpeggios. The only part of this piece that has any depth is when it switches to the key of d flat major. But this was surprisingly played very musically, and I enjoyed listening to it. :) Very impressive!

It's not berating. He didn't call her names, only pointed out that there are errors. I could tell there were errors, yet the performance enthralls me nonetheless, and in no way does the imperfection detract from my admiration of Rachel. Stop comparing it to Chopin, yes it has similarities, but to call it a copy is very wrong, especially just becuase its in the same key. Also, you should expect some similarites being that they are both impromptus, aka same musical form. Besides, I actually noticed more simalarites between this and Chopin's 2nd impromptu. ( I have played them both )

Regardless, she does a very good job, but I think her lack of physical strength takes the song down a notch from what it could be.

Also, the transition from the first part (4 sharps) to the middle (5 Flats) is awfully alike the Fantasie Impromptu... The transition from the third part (4 Sharps) to the coda, is the same but also resembles the Chopin Fantasie Impromptu One. The other impromptu also has a coda, similar to this one. However, that is the only different part. Either way, I still think this is a wonderful song and Rachel did a pretty good job of it!

Not saying she does a bad job of it, it's wonderful but I personally think there's some parts she can change and it would be much better w/ bigger hands.

Also, this song is pretty much a copy of Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu. Chopin's Impromptu is starts off with 4 Sharps and then moves onto 5 flats in the middle. Afterwards, it goes back to 4 Sharps and repeats the first theme. This song is EXACTLY like that. It begins 4 sharps, then 5 flats, then 4 sharps again.
