Awesome, I was waiting to see if it made the sound to. I was so excited to see that it did!!! Oh Nostalgia. Now I'm imagining Kahn yelling: "Raise them, raise them." "I can't." @stargatefan18 It's some type of plastic, yes.  I'm not certain whether it's plexiglass or not. Might be lexan or acrylic.

Star Trek II had the most clumsy shield activation that I have ever seen. Even in the first Star Trek film the shields went up right away. Why not in the second?

Uhm. The whole point is that it's similar to the movie prop. If you wanna pay to have 5 more laser panels etched for me I'll do the other 5 views. I agree it'd look cool, but it would be wayyy too expensive.

I've actually handed off all of the code and circuit plans to Matt, so you'll have to ask him for one. He hasn't started making them yet but I'm sure he will soon. I think he's looking to sell completed displays, but he should be willing to make a circuit for you. Can you e-mail me a link to the forum post about this? How much for 2 circuits or do you have a schematic?
