  • "Always winter, but never Christmas"....omg! his fits perfectly! Awesome job :)

  • omgsh, I've been looking for a video like this since forever for this song. you're my hero!!!- and @ jonlow1121, I listen to christmas music during summertime. this isn't weird. it's just too good to wait. lol

  • Why is there one random clip of Prince Caspian

  • great song for today i already got 6 inches of snow

  • This song was INSPIRED by the movie. That's why it fits so perfectly.

    Awesomeness.

    Nuff said.

  • it's way too early to be listening to Christmas music. and yet it plays on...

  • @squeeproductionz k thnx

  • did relient k write this song being inspired by the chronicles of narnia? ive always wondered that

  • @idontwannakillu Yeah they did. On the lyric sheet for this song it says it is.

  • One word defines this video- "awesomeness"

  • This is a great video! You did an amazing job, the song goes great with Narnia :)

  • 3:00 Haha, her head turns in sync with the bells!

  • Kawaiix16 my msn in profile! Narnia - In Like A Lion (Always Winter)

  • @hunterws Narnia isn't just for kids. If you actually read the book. There is so much symbolism for God and Christ. You are never too old for God.

  • you know they were considering using this in the lion witch and the wardrobe but instead they used Steven Curtis Chapman

  • this is one of my favourite videos on youtube, no lie. I love it so much!

  • This video is put together beautifully. Narnia matches it so well. Good job. :D

  • One dislike......gotta be a mistake.

  • My new song obsession :)

  • This is soo perfect for narnia!

  • @Multiplexing13 it was written for the book haha(:

  • This can be included in the various artist version of Narnia soundtrack

  • this is actually as song that they made because of the books...if you didnt know that already. im not to sure but i thought u might think that was cool ^^

i love this video and the song is so awsome!

thanks for making this vid and putting it on here

  • so when it comes to public displays of christianity around christmas... i think that the whole "acceptance of religion" in america means that you CAN put "merry christmas" or "happy hanukkah" or kwanzaa, or whatever it is. i don't think that you can try to please everyone with "happy holidays"... stop doing that and show what YOU believe, not what you think won't offend others. right? i mean, there's a difference between toleration and suffocation... well its halloween right now, not christmas.

  • I remember seeing this vid last year around Christmas.. and I know it's only September, but pretty soon it'll be CHRISTmas and New Year's again; how life flies

    =)

awesome song and vid combo btw

  • Apparently this song was specifically written for the Narnia movies. There's another song by Relient K called 'The Truth' which is based on Lucy's story, but was later changed to suit a more Christian message. :)

This video is brilliant and it matches the song perfectly! Thanks for posting. :)

  • If Shirley Phelps Roper can say Elton John ruined his music for her, I can say Relient K's crappy lyrics ruined their song for me

  • "it's always winter but never Christmas"

-- i wish our lives everyday were in the mood of Christmas as well. to be thankful and acknowledge Him all the time.

"but in the midst of all this ice and snow, our hearts stay warm cause they are filled with hope"

-- in our troubles God gives us hope and strength ^^

    God bless youtubers~

  • ya! i did a narnia dance production and we used this song it WAS perfect!

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • oh, lovely work in every way

  • amazing song, and really good video

  • narnia is my favorite movie ever. i've seen in 24 times :)

    this song is beautiful.

  • Matt wrote this song with the hopes of it being included on the "Inspired By" cd for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. So, the "official video" would be the movie. :p

  • Yes, this song really is about Narnia. "Always winter but never Christmas" is kind of a big giveaway.

  • Yeah, although it fits the ACLU's vision of America pretty well. I mean once you outlaw public manger scenes, start calling Christmas trees "holiday trees," teach kids to say "winter break" instead of "Christmas vacation" in schools, and all the stores start saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas," what do you really have left? A birthday where you can't even say the man's name, that's what.

  • @Omnitrix12 I thought it was sad too when my friend would smile and never say Christmas around me

  • @vampireknightfreak12 I can imagine.

  • @Omnitrix12 it's awful. :(

"You gave us the most beautiful days. It's always winter, but never Christmas. Sometimes it feels like your not with us..." this is that world... as dramatic as it sounds.

  • @PirateBunnies15 Indeed.

  • @Omnitrix12 You are so right about the ACLU, but the song partains to the book and the movie The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe because it was always winter and never summer or Christmas there in Narnia, that's where they got "It seems this curse just can't be lifted." but when the White Witch was defeated by Susan, Edmond, Lucy and Peter the curse was lifted, hence the ending of the song where it says "It changed over night, this dieing world You broght it back to life." Really good song.

  • @sportsygirl8 Yes, but they didn't defeat the queen. Their arrival was a prophesied sign of her destruction, but as the beavers told them, there wasn't a thing they could do to stop her. Aslan did that.

  • @Omnitrix12 You might want to check out Casting Crown's song "While You Were Sleeping". It echoes the same ideas.

  • @fillysunray I have seen it. One of my favorites.

  • @Omnitrix12 Don't hate too much on it. I go to a public school and our choral program did Handel's Messiah and a lot of other Christmas songs about Jesus. Don't worry, there is still good things going on within our country's school system. :)

  • @BekaThePixie I'm glad to hear that. It's nice to know the Anti Civil Liberties Union hasn't cowed everyone into hiding under rocks.

  • @BekaThePixie the high school i whent to isn't to crazy with it ither. the band has a holiday concert but the choir( of wich i was a part of) has a christmass concert just as it has since 1939 . and much of the music was spiritual not all that waterd down rodolfe. santa junk

  • @Omnitrix12 the aclu can jump in a hole. i'll say it. merry CHRISTmas. and happy birthday Jesus.and if they wanna come knocking on my door i'll give them some scriptur and a good hearty God bless

  • @Omnitrix12

    let's change it back then

    merry jesus day

  • @haohaohayashi Hey, I like that!

  • @Omnitrix12 Come on. Don't be ignorant.

  • @PizzaGoodProductions Trying not to be. Can you say the same?

  • aww i loved it!! =D good job!!

  • 'In', not I'm.. But very good!

  • Was this song made for Narnia? Because it is an absolute perfect fit. There has to be an official video somewhere!

  • That was an amazing video; it made me tear up at the end. This song is sooo good! 5/5 fav

  • LOVE this!!! Wow!! REallyyyy good job!!!!!

  • i loved the beginning.

    0:00 - 0:12

I appreciate how you made it go with the back beat

  • this song is awesome i paid 10 dollars for this ep that was kinda sucky but it was worth it haha : )

  • This song is so beautiful! Relient K + Narnia = awesome combination

  • good job with the editing! it goes really well with the song

  • love it!

  • good edit. maybe took the lyrics a little too literaly, but good job.

  • this is such an awesome song.... kinda depressing though : / i still like it
