This must have been a very expensive ad to make. A used commercial jet costs millions of dollars. Also I would think that the insurance would have been expensive too. But they got what they paid for (and risked a few lives for too). It is, if I may opine, a very good ad.

the first time I saw this, the part with the people jumping out was cut off... and it looks about 60% convincing that way. any chance the people jumping out were ADDED to the end of legit footage? It does seem like the wings would break off... and, that CNN would be playing it 300 times an hour.

I have seen that version which only shows the plane crashing, which I was sent. Before it crashed I thought it was a video of one of those airports which is near a town, but then it got so close to those buildings!

The file circulating is faulty as the player says it's over a minute long, but it stops halway through. Also, there are no logos on the plane which made me think it was a very well done spoof. I searched around & found it here.
