Once you've taken it apart, does it go back together with just the parts you have? Or do you need any adhesive?

Long story short, someone dented the back of my Nano (same model). It still plays songs on shuffle and apears to function normally, other than that nothing is displayed other than a white screen. I'm guessing maybe a video connector or something came off? Any ideas how to fix it? Its only months old so this really sucks. Any help would be great.

@collinsup i washed mine, i was wondering how u fixed it. mine stil words but the screen is white and when the light goes off or it goes in sleep mode u cant get it to turn back on until the battery drains and i connect it to the charger. I would appreciate it if u replied to my message about how u went about fixing it.

@trevorj1994 So, very, very carefully take it apart (there's an actual guide somewhere....don't follow this, it's too fast paced) and just get some white distilled vinegar, and very very carefully with q tips go around all the parts of the circuit board that are corroded. you have to take off the yellow tape, but that's not a problem....mine's been working for 4 months now no problem, other than my radio going out. That should work, and just make sure you have the hold switch on in the process.

No. The pictures in the Apple web site shows the Nano 5G in what it seems to be a blueish/aqua colour... but in real life the colour is more similar to the one in the video. Although it may change a bit with different tipes of light.

Actually, I was checking this and it seems that there are more colours available than the ones published in the Apple site... I think I saw a picture with 5th gen Nanos in two kinds of blue... I don't know.

I can only say that mine is something like a standard blue that looks diffrent with light changes and it's nice.

well, to my knowledge you can't have a camera that can just "switch modes" between thermal and visible light. It requires a filter to either block out visible or IR light. This means that you would have to physically change filters, which is simply not possible on a devise this small
